Sounds good but if we can spawn an information node that tells the AI what to do, we can easily make strategies before we even start the match =/ where's the fun in knowing exactly what the enemy would do?


An info node just tells the A.I what kind of terrain it can climb or walk on. It doesn't tell it were to go. so the A.I would be doing it's normal run going where ever it wants. Plus in firefight... we always knew where the enemies would land and they'd always go after you so there's not much difference there.

EDIT: Besides that's the risk of making your own game... you know everything and nothing is a surprise because... you made it. it's supposed to be for your friends.

i would do anything to be able to place campaign bots on my custom maps wich are just sitting there collecting dust. there isnt one game out there that offers a wave after wave of enemie game type with custom map creation. who will be the first?


Half-life 2 did this. I myself have made custom maps and scripts and weapons with it's system and created an entire level(4 actually leading up to a boss fight) It's not an easy task but you can do it. and you can set a spawner to spawn enemies where you want them and they'll go wave after wave on your custom map.
