I have an idea. What if there was a level on which you wanted a sniper, but you are unable to find one. Say there is a Marine nearby with one. Could you go up to him and hold X to switch one of your weapons with his sniper?

Please, post your ideas and what you like/dislike about this.

Yeah it's a lot easier than having to blast them in the head for their guns or ammo.

Shooting them, then realizing that that was the 3rd one you killed sucked. And realizing you wanted to save some of them and then having to kill them.

I got this idea while watching the E3 2003 demo. I realized that the Marines do it in key places, but only willingly. But, since the Master Chief is a higher rank than almost all of the Marines you met in Halo, you, technically, should be able to order them to relinquish their weapon. But in the original Halo, you only received a weapon from Captain Keyes, a higher rank than you. In the E3 demo, however, the highest rank you met was a Sargeant...a lower rank than you. Just a little background info.

Cool and realistic, i think. That can happen in real world and would be useful. I actually think it will be included. In E3 trailer he recieves the two smgs of the wounded marine at the turret. Don't ya remember - so your idea will maybe be realized.

they should really take ideas from games like ghost recon so that when ur travelling with marines you can put them in formations and select the weapon they're using

You know you do bring up a great point and if put in the game a great element to the Halo experience. Bungie notice that you could do sommething that has not been done in any game that i am familar with at least.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

dont shoot them! waste of ammo, smack to the head as your faster than them!

btw, great idea!

it would be more realistic so i like it better than killing a marine but what would happen if you gave them a empty weapon

half the joy of halo, (well not really) is listening to things the marines and enemy say, you could get some funny responses if you hand a marine an empty shotgun or something
