This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option. ----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.
So, how I came to this theory goes back a few months ago. The Halo: Reach trailer was all the buzz. It had just been shown at E3. Videos filled the tubes, dissecting every inch of trailer.
In one such video, it point out something I had missed before hand. Early in the trailer, before the battle begins, we can see two planets in the backdrop behind Reach. This was sort of interesting to me. Partially because I liked the detail. Partially because we had never seen other planets in Reaches system. Where as we got a glimpse of Reach in Halo 2. In the backdrop, there were two planets, within close proximity to one another. One appearing rather dull, nothing was really notable about it. The other had a ring like Saturn around it.
The planets can be clearly seen at around 28 seconds in.
Anyways, later that day, I was playing Sandbox. A few friends and I were fooling around in Forge, as we would often do. When something I took notice to before, had once again attracted my attention. But this time for a wholly different, and more significant reason. As I looked up, into the amazing skybox of Sandbox, I stared at a massive planet. Within close proximity to the one I was on. That had a ring similar to Saturns.
Very quickly I surmised, that maybe, just maybe I was standing on that dull looking planet, in the backdrop of the Halo: Reach trailer. That the planet I was staring at, too was in the Halo: Reach trailer. Working under that assumption, I began to think about the implications. This could easily allow, the implentation of Sentinels, and perhaps even the Flood.
However, even if I was right, even if the planets in the backdrop of the Reach trailer, and those in sandbox (sandbox itself and the planet in the skybox) were the same canonically. There is no reason for me to assume the Covenant ever ventured to the planets. and further more, that our protagonists would follow them there, to figure out what they were looking for.
Then a couple weeks ago, I picked up Halo 3: ODST. I lacked the free time, necessary to really delve into the single player mode. So i decided to use the time, to explore the new maps. And perhaps find some new skulls.
Having seen screens of all three new maps, for the most part I wasn't too excited to see them for myself. That is ofcourse excluding Heretic. There was a lot of praise for the maps skybox floating around. I had even heard many friends, after the midnight launch, the night before remark at how great it looked. So I was excited to see for myself. As soon as I started the map, I looked around. Looking for a window to peek out of. I saw a particularly big one on the roof. So I flew up, in anticipation of awesomeness. I was not disapointed.
Based solely on the angle of approach, I noticed the large fleet first. I was amazed at the great detail, on display. But unlike most, that was not the most significant thing in the skybox. Far from it. As I looked upon the fleet, my eyes began to pan across the sky. The fleet was amazing. But I was curious, where was it headed?
What I saw, immediately caught my attention. It was immediately significant. Most had likely overlooked them. Two planets were in view. One rather dull, and one with a ring like Saturn. The fleet was converging on the latter.

Obviously, this is a far cry from undeniable evidence. Its perfectly possible that they are just concidences. But its also possible, these are teases, clues to Halo: Reach, hidden in two of the Mythic maps.
So what do you think?
Do you WANT Halo: Reach to retain the galactic romp, esque style of story telling? Or should the story be fixated on Reach? Do you think the Sentinels, and Flood help keep Halo interesting? Or do you despise them?
If you think anything I said, has any amount of significance, feel free to post.
