Nah, too much overpowering of weapons and it would be very difficult to implement.

Enough with the messages,
I don't want to join your stupid groups.

It would upset the balance of Halo,
one guy could have a high damage, low range sniper,
and another with long range, low damage.

Halo is a fair and skill based game, if you start going down the Call of Duty path then it will all go tits-up.

Call of Duty really takes no skill, it's all about who comes up behind the other person first, since you die in one hit from everything.

Halo actually takes some skill because you need to be good with the weapon you're using because of the high health.

You start making it like Call of Duty, well, it wouldn't even be Halo.

I would like to see some sort of CoD-like weapon customization, but it should be integrated with Forge, rather than with a character profile. It would add a whole new level of customization to map making.

custom games are known for their customization, so if you want to make it an option, maybe have it possible.

But don't you dare bring it near matchmaking.

It'd be an interesting development, but it'd be really difficult to keep the balance of the multiplayer, without making it a purely aesthetic thing (i.e. a solid gold sniper rifle or something similar). Putting it in campaign would probably make Legendary diffiuclty too easy as well.

A button that call in Chuck Norris, that would be SWEET! Oh and there could be a button for some TOAST AND BUTTER, OMFG!!!

It would be cool and in matchmaking they should games where you can have custom weps and ones with no custom weps.

Dont even bother trying to send a invitation to your Clan/ Group/ Whatever your trying to offer me. Its a waste of your time and i will not accept.

this could be a good idea.
like an ARMY OF TWO type customization. not as extreme with the pimping thing, but unlock a couple different barrels for guns, new scopes.
all unlocked through achivements.

Beware the Llama...

Yeah! You can upgrade them as you play through and customize them! Then you could parachute into towns and stuff...o wait that's Medal of Honor: Airborne....whats that you say? That game sucked? Oh, my b. Customizable weapons is a horrid idea, akin to the stupid equipment in Halo 3. This is an idea for a ten year old (just like equipment...way to market to kids Bungie) but the game is rated Mature every time so lets keep it that way nice and gritty with cursing aliens and a nice set of weapons to splatter their brains everywhere with...no upgrades necessary.
