Okay, I'll admit it. I've never played Halo 1. I have played Halo 2, 3, and ODST. I've been on multiplayer enough to know what I'm talking about, so lets try to keep the pointless flaming down.

First thing, Halo 3 Multiplayer a.k.a Match Making isn't as broken as people think it is. All the guns are balanced minus the BR which is a bit OP'ed.

2nd thing, ever noticed which guns are never used? The light ones. Plasma Pistol (PP), Plasma Rifle (PR), SMG, Spiker, Mauler, and the Pistol.

3rd thing, Which are all ways used? The medium weapons, AR, BR, and Carbine, and Heavy + Support weapons (includes Needler).

The problem? You spawn with either a Mid weapon (AR) and light weapon (Pistol) or a 2 mid weapons (BR+AR).

Whats the use of trading either, AR or BR, for a weaker, lighter weapon? You obviously want to trade up, right?

Solution? All starts are SMG + Pistol. AR and BR are now limited on the map and are considered Mid weapons. Heavies stay the same.

Let me explain. The SMG is a light AR and the Pistol is a light BR. It remains the same.

To make things fair, as light weapons are still to weak, they need to be tweaked, as do the BR and the AR.

here we go:

Plasma Pistol: The only change needed is that the homing needs to be better on PLAYERS ONLY. Right now, you can't hit jack unless the're moving slowly or standing still. Also, 18 shots to kill instead of 22 when duel-wielded.

PR: This needs to be changed. Its the Covenant version of the AR so it needs to behave like an AR. 1) 1.5X red dot scope
2) Double the range 3) increased accuracy

Brute PR: This is the Covie SMG, so keep the ODST edition. Works very well for its role

SMG: Not much to change. A bit more power and range.

Spiker: Also good. Slight Power increase. Slight more range

Mauler: Keep it same. Perfect as it is.

Pistol: major changes. The M6G was quite good, but the BR was better. How to make it better? 1) 2X scope 2) 4 head shot kill, 6 body shot kill 3) higher ROF.

AR: also a solid gun, but needs changes. Real Life AR are meant for longer range engagements and are often scoped. so 1) more power. 2) 1.5X red-dot scope 3) more power, half a clip or 16 bullets for a kill 4) ROF= PR's

BR:Admit it. Its over powered. How to fix it? 5 head shot kill and limit the number on the map and lower the mag size to 24. Scarcer Ammo means less people using it.

Finally, AR, BR, Carbine and PR are the new Mid class weapons.

Last thing, melee's.
Players have 70 points of shielding and 45 points of health
Light Weapons: 60 points of damage, Spiker does 65, fast melee
Mid weapons: 70 points of damage. Brute Shot does 75, normal melee
Heavy weapons: 80 points of damage. Grav Hammer Blade does 85
slow melee.

weaker melees means more gun fighting and less boxing.

Thats my 2 cents. All the other weapons are remarkable. I have nothing to suggest changing. Add comments below.
