Do you?

I personaly don't want a class based Halo game. I don't know why, and it's not one of those dumb answers saying that it wouldn't make Halo, Halo.

Contribute to 10,000,000,000 covie kills!

Team Fortress Two - My class based game.

Call of Duty 4 - My classes (Not class based) game.

Halo - My competitive game

I would rather have these options, due to their variety, instead of having two or three of those being the same game, with different models.

Yes, but rather than changing the players weapons, it also changes their ability. A sniper class, for example, would have a VISR like outline on everything, an assault class would be able to move faster, and a demolitions class would basically be a tank.

Maybe they could give us the option to have classes in custom games or a special playlist? Having the same old weapon system like in the other 4 games are getting a bit boring.

Maybe a completely different class system like:

Stealth: You may start off with something like a plasma rifle or pistol but as soon as you get kills with this class you unlock stuff like invisibility, energy sword, silenced pistol/SMG, firebombs.

Sharpshooter: start off with a regular pistol but you can gain frags, BR, Carbine, Sniper, Beam rifle.

Close Quarters: start with a SMG? and gain spikes, AR, shotty, duel SMG's, overshield.

Other classes like Heavy weapons, All rounder, explosives, anti-sheild, obviously im running out of ideas but they can add more.

And if you use a certain class you gain levels in that class so you get better weapons/abilities. and if you dont use the other classes they remain crappy.

No.

Don't take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyways.

Elite, Spartan, Brute, and Hunter classes

Are you mad?!?!?! Imagine how pimp that would be to have a halo class based game. Just like cod4. Imagine haveing the advantage to create your own armor and at the same time put toghether your own gear and put scopes on your weapons and stuff like that. It would be really cool if you could also like unlock more weapons by ranking up and stuff. But forget prestige mode lol. I wouldnt want the game to be just like CoD.

Nosy little sucker aren't you?

It would be awesome but like with every other class game there would be one that just beat the crud out of the others.

It happens. Maybe this is why Bungie is beta-testing as opposed to just throwing it out there and saying, "Hey, here it is, if you don't like it suck it up"

Enig, do not click this.

it should be like you can choose a deufalt (<- is that right??) class or you can create your own.

"You must be mistaken, Reclaimer. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name..."

That would be a resounding "no" from me. Halo is meant to be 10% crazy illogical foolishness, 90% "We never have the power weapons!" and 2% bad math.

Nah. I'd like to see the same nutty rush to the power weapons, but now in AAA graphics and improved lighting. And persistent bodies. I'd like to fight knee deep in slain foes atop Valhalla's hill, personally. The same could probably go for vehicles, and makes wrecks/bodies forgable would be amazing!
