[.../Text Log/... "And the FNG. The Rookie, Not exactly green, no ODST is. if I didn't think he could do the job I wouldn't have him on my six. He doesn't say much, but I don't care, i just need him to listen." - Sgt Edward Buck.

But won't it make it cost more? Though it is a very smart idea.

not too too much more, like 10 or 15 dollars more...but come on... i'd spend that on a game thats gonna keep me entertained for 2 - 3 years....

In Reach, even if you had the single-player disc inserted, you should be able to start up the multiplayer component, (as long as you downloaded it into your harddrive.) So you wouldn't need to exchange discs if you wanted to play multiplayer, just go to the dashboard and start up the multiplayer component, or vice versa.

Every time you sneeze into an open Febreze portal the boner-tree drive shaft will spin into ketchup. But it doesn't stop at the number two pizza bell, not even close. It continues into the seventy eight minute long pile of green, sobbing cheese trains with no more butter, but more like the steak owed the tin cans some lovin'.

I really don't think this game's going to have the 7+ gigs of content to warrant a second disk.

halo 3 had 6.4 gigs. I'd presume this game is going to be around that if not larger, providing they don't have to cut too much.
Agreed, I'm expecting around 6.5-6.7. But it doesn't benefit Bungie to split a game like that if it can fit one one disk.
a dual layer DVD holds about 8.5 GB

people complaining about switching disks- get off your lazy butt and put the new disk in!

Seriously, you'd rather not have a bigger and better game so you can sit on your couch all day without getting up to switch to multiplayer? It takes 5 seconds to get up and switch. It's not like you switch to Campaign and Multiplayer that often, at least I don't.

I just hope we can search for firefight matches (assuming that it will be in Reach). I thought it was pretty weird for Bungie not to have a search feature and i'd imagine many people weren't happy.
