Bungie has to think about this, nobody wants a class based halo game. If they change it then they are really not smart. The Halo series has been very successful because people like how it plays,Why fix something when it's not broken?. Thoughts?

why would you mention call of duty? call of duty isnt the only game with classes nor the most original.

when you say nobody wants a class based halo game, speak for your self. i would graciously welcome a class based halo game as long as bungie designs it well.

halo gameplay isnt broken. its about making new gameplay for another the new halo game. something different from the same stuff we've seen over the years. that doesnt make bungie not smart, there video game experts and they know how to make games.

Signatures are for squares.

Hey buddy, Do me a favor. List off a couple popular class based shooters.

Rainbow Six Vegas.
Call of Duty.
Team Fortress
Battle Field
etc...

Now name off a couple popular FPS's like Halo?
-Halo.

When I get bored of Halo (Rarely) I pop in CoD for a bit, and once I'm tired of classes I go back to Halo.

But what happens when the gaming market is filled with nothing but class based shooters? Halo is different, that's why it's successful. Some will say, "Halo is just like quake" But look at Halo, it's one of the last popular genres of it's kind. I don't want to be forced to play nothing but class based games.

Really? With this logic nothing good should be improved on. We would never have the cars we have today, nor planes, guns, computers, video games, etc.

Just because you don't want classes, doesn't mean you should say everyone doesn't want it. What I hate is how we can totally reject the idea of classes. How about a class idea where you start out with a choice of different weak starting weapons (human, elite, brute). Would this ruin the whole "feel" of halo?
