being a big zombie fan i like halo 3's infection gametype. heres a few things i would like to see in reach's infection game type.

1. have a health meter that the infected have to chip away at with there energy swords. you can replenish health by getting a health pack.


2. have some sort of barricade system. i loved that one foundry infection map for matchmaking cause it gave you a crate and a wire spool to barricade the stair case. id like to more of that implemented into infection gametypes.

3. give the zombies normal health. that way they can swing there swords multiple times to chip away at your health with out dying with just one headshot.

4. have post apocalyptic variations of the default maps but make them look like ghost town and give them a light sepia tone. the post apocalyptic variations would basically be the same as there default versions but with post apocalypse graphics and some changend level geometry.

5. have zombie mjolnir and elite armor that you can unlock after getting all the infecetion achievements. zombie mjolnir would have chipped, rusty armor with cracked visors. elite versions would look the same but for elites

that all i can think of now. please tell what you think but dont flame or troll or brake any forum rules or do something illegal

Too be Honest point 1-2-3 are impossible in Halo:Reach especially when they keep true to the Halo tradition...
Point 1 a health system is just not a good idea because tbh if you get hit by an Energy Sword=INSTA kill dunno if you can survive that... would make Humans OP tbh
Point 2 looks stolen from COD WAW ( /care btw, zombie mode know that because i played it) anyways... another thing that Bungie won't put in because it's unhalo
Point 3 LoL same as point 1.
Anyways this infection would count as an entire game mode such as Firefight and so I don't think that they will put it in Halo Reach

in my experiance of infection on matchmaking it tends to be laggy. lag + sword lunge can be really bad if your playing a human. if the zombie has to make multiple sword swings then that could give the human survivor a chance to fight off the zombie even if there is lag. i could see this being unbalanced though but im sure bungie are video game experts and know how to balance a game.

looks like COD WAW stole a barricades from dawn of the dead. barricades arnt exactly new concepts in gaming that are exclusive to a particular game. hell, i rememeber using barricades in castle wars from runescape which came out before WAW.

infection is different from firefight. firefight is all about survival. infection is about players playing as zombies trying to turn other players who are humans into zombies

Really love point 5. All zombie fans can now become zombies themselves!!! Yea thats right screw recon, get zombie.
