DUH!, Bungie said its an FPS, and its gonna be like jumping from halo 2 to halo 3, which was a bug improvement, so yeah this game will probably be awesome.

  • 10.05.2009 12:41 PM PDT

I miss playing Halo with my friends.

Guaranteed everybody that has a profile on B.Net will buy this game.

As of right now I am more excited for Crackdown 2 than Halo Reach. Untill I see the beta and can stand still and shoot a guy standing still and 4 shot him all day I won't be excited by the Halo series.

You're part of the reason why the majority of the Halo community looks down upon competitive players.

There's no reason to even try to use logic on someone so simple minded, stubborn, and elitest.

Well there is the 60+ thousand players in social slayer. Mostly casual gamers. It is like if you called me a football player because I play flag football in grade school. Then there are Gamers that play competitive playlists all day.

Better yet. If you lift weights once a month your a weight lifter. That is what I mean when I don't refer to most of you as gamers. Your bad at it and you don't have the guts to get better.

Really?? We don't have the guts? Guts to do what??? Sit around and play 13,000+ games of Halo? Playing games doesn't take guts, I'll admit it's fun, but it doesn't take guts.

  • 10.05.2009 1:31 PM PDT

what kind of stupid question is that, OBVIOUSLY people will buy this game.

  • 10.05.2009 1:31 PM PDT

Most people play social because they don't want to deal with people like you. Congratulations, you're good at a video game. No one cares.

And good for you if you can kick my ass up and down the block. It's a game.

And yeah, I'm definitely going to buy this game.

Exalted is considered "the highest" because you can't get any bans or warnings of any kind for quite a long time, which is harder than just being a member for a long time.

So you basically just forfeited the point. That your input into a games competitive aspect is worthless. Like you said I can beat you to the moon and back.

So could a pro MMA figher. So you suggesting anything related to MMA is retarded.

I just quoted you for no reason to see if you'd quote me and respond.

I think Halo: Reach is going to be awesome because Bungle is making it. Period.

Nobody comes close to matching their level of detail. I can't wait to see what they do with multiplayer.

I honestly know nothing else of this game but that 1 min trailer, i would post a topic and ask questions, but this is Bnet. There is a high chance i will get flamed *runs back to ODST forum*

An MMA fighter wouldn't waste his time fighting me. I'm 6 feet tall and 130 lbs. He could throw me out of the octagon. Plus, MMA is a sport, it takes real, tangible skill.

Halo requires only a degree of skill. Moving your thumbs around in a 5 square inch area.

And I didn't forfeit any point. Yeah, Halo is competitive, sometimes way too much. It's a game just like any other. Social play list's are full of people playing the game, just to play the game and enjoy it. It's awfully hard to enjoy something when people are screaming in your ear about how bad you suck. I personally prefer playing team slayer rather than social slayer.

And yes, I'm aware that the last 30 some odd games I've played aren't team slayer.

I really wanna see more skill put into this game and not have someone just keep on owning with shoot shoot punch yay i really want to see some combat evolved in hear somewhere

Ya moving your fingers is the only thing. That just shows how little you understand that you fail to fathom what it takes to be great let alone the best.

To competitive?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????

That is not possible. Greatest games in history are the ones where competition can be taken to exponentially high levels while still fun for everyone else. HCE and Starcraft as examples.

If you don't like people trying to win the game since it is RANKED don't play it hide in Social. If you want to play ranked how about making friends... Alas non of you have any. Most people that go in by themselves have no friends. I have more people I know in real life online at a time than you do period.

I always play to win. But I don't care if I lose.
I like competition but its annoying when people are over the top about it.

Group invites will be treated very poorly because the Care Package is empty.

I've bought every Halo game since CE, and I felt that all of them were awesome and were worth the 60 bones (aside from Halo 2).

I can't expect Halo Reach to be any different.

No Group Invites.
Worst idea ever...http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=8664824

This is a pointless thread. If we are on this forum discussing the game, isn't it fair to say that we will buy it? I'm not following your logic.

You give way too many witty examples that you suppose are making yourself look a whole lot smarter.

You're not.

By your logic, all people who play video games casually are fools, because you could whip some ass with a 360 controller and they can't.

*Sigh*

There really is no distinction between competitive gameplay and casual gameplay, unless you are a hardcore MLG player and you do that for a living. Do you work up a sweat when you play video games? Do you find yourself screaming at your TV, slamming your controller, playing at hours on end?

That doesn't make you competitive. At all. That just makes you an addict.
