i think the rocket launchers should have lock-on because it was like that before halo 3 so why not?

The Halo 2 Rocket Launcher was a wee bit strong because not only was it a major anti-infantry weapon but a major anti-vehicle weapon. They split the roles of that weapon up in halo 3 to make things more interesting, the homing function went to the missle pod to make an anti-vehicle weapon, and what was left became an anti-infantry rocket launcher.

I kinda like it how it is in halo 3, the missle pod is a beast.

Perhaps a very small one. The lock-on was more than likely removed due to the inclusion of the SPARTAN Laser and the Missile Pod. Although it would probably work in Reach with a very slight lock-on, as in if a vehicle suddenly changes course, the rocket will as well, but say only once.

To elaborate, we will imagine that there is a Spartan with a Rocket Launcher standing at Camp Froman on the map Last Resort. A Warthog speeds by, and the man with the Rocket Launcher decides he will shoot at it. The warthog then turns to the right, under the seawall, and the rocket follows it. The warthog then takes another right, but the rocket does not follow.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

Yes, because it makes more sense that way. But when it comes down to it I really do not mind all that much.
