I'm trying to figure out why game companies use regenerating health nowadays instead of health bars. Regenerating health just makes the game too dam easy. In Halo:CE, I can't tell you how many time I died. But now, with regenerating health, I have to turn the difficulty up to legendary just to get the same experience as Halo:CE normal. And i'm sure there's a lot more reasons for why the games are easy now, but regenerating health is a big part of it.

And that's why I think Halo:Reach should go back to the health bar system.

Stop equating non-regenerating health to Health bars. It's not the same. Health Bars = Shield Bars, Non-regenerating health = regenerating health.

Having no health bars visible is as stupid as it would be to have our shield bar invisible.

That said, I am a fan of regenerating health as it makes 1v1 fights more fair (you won't be at a disadvantage because you have less health, you need to rely on your aiming skill on an even field).

Agreed. The game makes you play more conservatively and cautiously when you're low on health and facing a huge group of enemies.
