to sum up all the nonsense i just read, if bungie listens to input from players, Reach will get a very high review. The story seems so intense, and so does the trailer. I personally do not like COD, not because i'm a halo fan--i just don't like realistic war games and that much blood. I'm fine with alien blood, wraiths and banshees, and sniping jackals.
I read MGS4 got a 10--hard to believe. I was hoping SSBB would get a 10, but it only got a 9.5. These numbers are from gamespot, but as you guys are saying they are just numbers. They are just general numbers of what most people think--it doesn't mean the game is bad. I've played games i thought were fun that got lousy reviews. What you need to pay attention to is why they say the games are bad. With halo 2, they said the cliffhanger was disappointing, so that's why that game ultimately got a low rating. With halo 3 it was the rewinding saved films and the short campaign. It's those cons from gamespot that you need to review in order to make the perfect game.
