I just wondered that if the forerunner temple under the section 3 base on reach in the books exested in the game wouldent it be cool if it contained forerunner weaponry and vechels other than the sentinel beam.

I drew some Covernant weapons then gave them a forerunner look about them since covi tech is surposed to be made from forerunner tech. http://commandon.deviantart.com/
when on page press browse gallery to veiw them all

Are we talking about the long extinct race or those monitor guys, because I'm not sure what use a montior would find for a needler. The big laser beam coming out of their face would probably do the trick.

The forerunners are the ancient race that made the moniters the halos the sentinals the ark portal and the ark

Those look really good. It would be cool to see more Forunner stuff cos the Sentinel beam isn't that strong.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

Nice skins, but just for some constructive criticism:

Though Covy tech is adapted from Forerunner relics, the Covenant aesthetic is vastly different from that of the Forerunner. Take, for example, their ships. We don't see any Covenant ships looking anything like a Forerunner Dreadnaught, do we?

You're on the right track with making more edges with the Forerunner looks, as Forerunners use more angles than rounded surfaces, but I also agree with whomever said that the angles are too sharp.

I'm not meaning to bash, but just to provide a counter-perspective on the idea.

"You must be mistaken, Reclaimer. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name..."

Forerunner stuff is all 45 degree angles and shiny metal. The shiny metal part is perfect, but the angular is more curvy. The Covenant are big on curves (ha, pun) but the Forerunners and their constructs are very flat (another pun...) and angular. Take a look throughout Construct and Citadel for inspiration. They do look like great skins though. I like the pointy look myself. You could probably shank someone with the tip of the Beam Rifle. Stabbin' Spree!

BYAHH

Not sure whether something like this will be in the game but wow those are beautiful and you are talented.

Try to think of new weapons and create them you would definitely impress some people.

Also, may I add, that the Covies most likely wouldn't directly copy the aesthetics of Forerunner weapons. Try making a completely new, Forerunner-looking weapon. Something like an "Energy Rifle" or whatever.

Wicked cool drawings but the game is most likely going to stick to the book which obviously didn't have Forerunner weapons. But I could be wrong, nice drawings though.

yer i couldent make them quite like forerunner but i like how the edges gave a streamlined sleek effect.

i was going to try to make a forerunner assault rifle from a covie version of the brute mauler and somehow invent a plasma shotgun.
