"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can't accept not trying." - M. Jordan

Since u have to use the left trigger for fireing wielded gun, that means you can fire weapons out of sync, like if your looking at someone that is shootin one SMG and an other not at the same time. The arms will be moving all around in different jolts by recoil. It will also be better for using one gun and the saving the other finish them off. anyone else think about what reaction the arms on the mc are gonna have to recoil?

no idea...we'll have to wait and see...by the way...i was just gonna ask how would the reloading work while duel wielding?

The kick forces the reticle upwards making it harder to aim I think. Also it might only be like that when using both simultaneously.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

If you fire one then its like firing it normally, because its light weight means that your one hand can hold it steady, but if you fire both the accuracy goes down, unless you fire in bursts. Therefore a good combo is needler n SMG, fire the needler <say 6 shots> then the SMG to finish them off, by the time the SMG has fired, the needles explode meaning that the die pretty quick.

<BTW, it wasnt me that said this, i read it somewhere, IF i am wrong then dont flame or ninja-fie me>

I heard that the duel wielded weapons go off screen while reloading.

At least that is what was on an earlier post.

the needler is reloaded as usual and the SMGs clip is thrown off the gun and is lowered for about 5 seconds and then comes up with a new clip.

The truth of the matter is no one knows how we reload in dual wielding, if they do then they are lying as anyone who does know is under an NDA. Any clues we've been shown are all things nodoubt bungie will change....anyhow, am more going for a funky animation like we used to have when we had akimbo shotties in Marathon. After all we could reload them then, so no doubt we'll get something equally as much fun to see animated for us again :)

watch the video where he uses the needler and SMG together and reloads them both. I don't know how X can work both guns but it was obviously working for E3.

The Kikizo video or a different one? as in the one demonstrating Zanzibar and dual wielding, picking up the Battle Rifle, and the Plasma Sword, destroying the Ghost and Worthog and basically having a damn good time he doesnt reload the SMG or the Needler, the Battle Rifle he does. If its another video then which one?

Its not a demonstration its actual gameplay footage of the 3min CTF game (just a few seconds though, not the whole game). I'm not sure where it is though. You could try google?

firing one wep while holding 2 would have the same amount of recoil as just firing one, and firing 2 at the same time would have twice the recoil

makes sense and its balanced only logical thats how its gonna be

He starts the movie already with the SMG, then picks up the needler, wastes Max (the Elite), and drops both when he picks up the Battle Rifle and Plasma Sword. No reload in that particular clip. Theres a bit of animation when he first equips the Needler but he doesn't reload. Note he was full of ammo when he started, and the HUD doesnt show the ammo in the Needler at that stage, but he never loaded it anyhow. He shoots the wall and ground to show the guns, shoots Max, then drops them both. No reload at all.
