Something smells fishy...

My dedicated server does not appear on the server list.

I forwarded ports for Gamespyonline and still my server does not show up.

I changed my network settings (in the game) also.

I connect to the internet through a Verizon DSL modem.

This is frusterating.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Sorry, Matt. For the life of me I cannot remember what to do in that situation.

Yeah, they could be blocking the port. My old ISP used to do that. Now my current ISP won't let me create a damn torrent of the music I wrote because they throttle bittorrent connections. :|

It used to work. This stinks. I guess if I cared enough I would contact Verizon.
Oh well........that's life.

The ports you want to forward are 3202 & 3203. If you having trouble with that go to portforward.com and look up your exact router model and they will have step by step instructions. Also disable Windows firewall it has a knack for doing nothing but getting in the way.

Wait, isn't that 2302 and 2303?

I did the whole portforward thing already. Last time I did this I was using Windows XP. Could it be that my current OS (windows Vista) is blocking Haloded?

Does Vista have an enhanced firewall? Just curious.
