if you have any questions about halo i am one of the few people on this site who will gladly help you. Even though this account has been active for only a year, my past accounts go all the way back to 2002.

i think a tech demo of the new reach engine would be an awesome way to get people excited without revealing anything too soon. also, it would get us hardcore fans excited at the possibilities of the new engine.

you think its a good idea?

"You must be mistaken, Reclaimer. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name..."

I'm thirsty for any kind of Reach content preview right now. ANYTHING would be nice. Gameplay footage would be best, but I'll settle for screenies, engine demos, environment shots, gameplay teasers, heck, Luke's drawings sound great right now.

But since I am human, I am good and bad as well. But I try my hardest to stay good. And some of the things I do and say may be bad. Or just not too good, but I do try.

So with that said I dont fault you. I mean your only human, good or bad. But I also dont respect you, and I dont care if thats good or bad haha.

-blam!- if you understand me.
I love being misunderstood.

I agree with panzeereapa anything would be nice right now, im already hyped for the beta but watch it not come out till like next summer lol

i agree but i don't see any of that coming very soon, except the screens. Maybe there is a Gameinformer with a reach cover? that would be significantly badass

i just feel that they should give us something before halloween and a tech demo seems like it wouldn't interfere with any cover plans

Well thats just it, I think bungie really wants to hit halo reach very had in the market. I would say it would be best to reveal nothing except a whole new halo. That would draw the most people in without ruining the game. I don't even think they should release anything just for the fact that they could get more people interested. The less you know the more excited your going to be about it. But that is for the general gaming society. The real hardcore fans will definately look forward to a tech demo. I think the tech demo in actuality would be a great market structure idea for bungie. Only the die heart halo fans are going to actually use the tech demo. So why not, I think it is a great idea.

if you remember, gears of war 2 did this by running the updated unreal engine in original gears of war environments. if bungie showed some stuff from halo 3 in the new engine, it would really show off the thing.

I don't want to be in your group quit spamming me

yes that sounds great they showed the teaser way to soon cause now i just want anything. and the new engine better be groundbreaking cause that's what halo 1's and 2's were like then 3 was kindof disapointing, but still good don't get me wrong.

Yes I'm pretty sure it would be a good idea just only the die heart fans will really care what the engine does no offence but the general halo public will just be interested in trailers and explosions

Chunky_Lover's Average Joe Interview

Bungie All Star Contest Winner Weeks 6,8 and 12

Uhm....

Too bad they currently have no plans on liscensing and selling the Engine to other companies otherwise you would of probably have seen one by now.

They only showcased UT3 before Gears 2 came out was because Developers pay money to use the Unreal Engine.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I was just about to say that, the only reason EPIC did it was because their engines are largely used by other groups. To this point Bungie's engines have been in-house. So the possibility of a public "tech demo" is very small.

I would love some new info though, at least some kind of teaser. A narrative by Captain Keyes would be nuts.

They're not a company that licenses their engines nor is the engine in a complete state, so it's not happening.
