If I could write off your murder I'd save all of my receipts. Because I'd rather you be dead than lose a tiny shred of what I made this fiscal year.

i play halo (all of them) for the story involved, not the weapons or vehicles.

KAOS DEAMON:
A slight ‘’incident’’ has occurred in the forum. Me and Random have both been banned by myself. Which is annoying? Hopefully this is fixable? PLZ? Random is becoming angry.

I'd still buy it, but it would be stupid to release a game without head-shot-compatible weapons.

it doese'nt look nextgen , looks good but not nextgen
If by next-gen you mean crappy, dark and colorless, I agree. It doesnt look next-gen at all.

"I will buy halo no matter what they do"

Because I'm a mindless drone who buys anything with the Halo name slapped on it.[/sarcasm]

I buy the game for the enjoyment factor and for the huge number or things i can do on it. I got Halo CE for the story itself and not really for the multiplayer. Once i played the campaign i was slightly disappointed but i still enjoyed the multiplayer since it was one of the few console games that had such a good multiplayer match making system. It was either Halo, or turn on the computer to go play some Half Life mod (CS/DoD/FA/TF).

Once Halo 3 came out i really didn't expect much from the story. Sure, i wanted to finish the fight but it was not what drove me to buy the game. Things like a better matchmaking, and more multiplayer options drove me to buy this game. Not only that, but Forge and Saved Films were one of the major selling points.

So will the Battle Rifle or Sniper Rifle, or hell, even grenades make me buy Reach? No. Even if the game doesn't have X or Y weapon, a new weapon or weapon combination will end up taking its place.

I buy halo games for the multiplayer. Yeah, the campaign is kinda fun, but multiplayer is where its at.

So if there is a lack of mid range weapons that work for competitive type gameplay, then I won't buy it.

So basically Halo multiplayer boils down to 1 weapon?

Can't you read? I said if there is a lack of mid to long range weapons that promote teamwork and competitive play, then I won't buy reach. Whether there is one or ten mid range weapons doesn't matter to me. So Halo multiplayer deosn't boil down to one weapon, but competitive multiplayer in halo often boils down to 3-5 shot kill mid range weapons.

I'm not a fanboy who cares about my favorite weapon, but if there aren't any weapons that work good for competitions then that will affect me as a consumer. Thus it will also effect my decision to buy the next halo game.

I'm glad I could clear that up for you. If you need a better explanation of my opinions as a consumer of triple A video games then I will be glad to do so. I can also uses less complex words if that will aid your comprehension of said explanation.

Betatesters are disposable.

I buy everything with which has "Halo" in the name. Amen.

No seriously. i don't care what weapons bungie will be putting in, as long as the end result is okay. And I think it will be.

I'm sure I'll end up buying. I might not play MM much. Not because I rely on the BR but because I can only see snipers being pretty unstoppable without a mid-range weapon to counter them. Of course, that's if it's anything like Halo 3 but minus the BR.

Reach is probably going to be like Team Fortress anyway, with classes. That's what I see everytime I look at that banner.

Great, you buy the game for the competitive level and you argue that no BR will screw that, but what about the Carbine? Great mid range weapon and it seems to be up to par with the Halo CE pistol with its "hit or miss" instead of the "miss but you can still hit"

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

I would buy it buy it for the campaign, but I wouldn't play the multiplayer at all if there was not a midrange headshot weapon like the M6D, BR, or Carbine (M6C/SOCOM doesn't count because it's worthless against shields).

I'll be perfectly honest I will buy Reach regardless of what they do to it...

Story involved? You don't mean Halo plot, do you? In that case, I recommend you to read literature, dude, also watch some movies like Citizen Kane.

I can't believe someone can think Bungie has made a good work talking about Halo plot...
