All you need is a well placed grenade :)

It gets glassed and the Chief Escapes. Why do people try to think of some crazy time twist. This game has been advertised as "The game we know the ending too." that meens "Reach gets -blam!- up." The Chief is in the game with no Cortana and a team of Spartans.
Oh yeah, stop trying to ask to fix weapons, they are fine, maybe its you who sucks lol.

glad you agree :D

I agree with you dude. But I believe there's a connection between Halo: Reach and Halo 3 ending. In fact, I believe Halo: Reach is an entire flashback which MC is going to have when he arrives with Cortana to that mystery planet at Halo 3 ending (that planet is probably the destructed Reach).

If it is, then the Chief will only be able to survive about 80 minutes on the surface. Reach was glassed and it has no atmosphere...

More likely a Forerunner/Precursor world that Mendicant Bias sent him to at the end of Halo 3.

Anyways, there will be more to Reach's story than it just being glassed. We all know Bungie's tendancy to go the extra mile.

Yea and try to not expect HALO3's ending to connect with HALO:Reach. Just cause the chief is coming back doesn't explain that its going to be the continue. Think of it as filler for a background thats about it.

Well, it does not matter at all. I just want Bungie to create a good atmosphere (like they did in Halo: Combat Evolved) and a great plot (you know, all Halo games plot sucks...). Well, maybe the plot is alright, the problem is the way the game tells the story. I mean, there's a good base for a really good script, but Halo script in the four games is bull-blam!-.

I have been happy with each campaign, maybe its just me. HALO:CE dedicated to the chief and it was needed at the time. I loves CE like everyone and played on Xbox Connect lol.
HALO2 it was good to see the advancement and i enjoyed the story with the Arbiter and it allowed us to get an understanding of the covies.
HALO3:We learned more about the flood and the arc. This game was actually about the Forerunners more than the humans, and it was pretty descriptive with the pannels to discover.
ODST:Just get to learn more about the soldiers weve been fighting next to for 8 years. HALO was originally suppose to be what ODST turned out to be. The chief was a sub character originaly not the main.

Reach. more bout the chief

I totally agree, playing REACH as the MasterChief will give us more information...

The Chief didn't fight on Reach until after the main fighting was over. All he did was fight on a ship and then leave on the Pillar of Autumn, only to return later to save some of the spartans. They fought the battle of Reach while the Chief was off with Johnson blowing up the Covenant's hula-hoop thing.

Wow it is Reach. Look at the First reach trailer and compare The planet in the trailer to the "mystery planet" To find out that it is Reach.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed, knowing better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives: not men, for flags.
"The Next War"

I don't think that this game is going to be all about Chief. And I don't think there is a going to be a "time twist." I think and hope that this will focus on the other Spartans that survived the attack on Reach. 117 wasn't even on the planet for the duration of the attack. Other spartans were. Why wouldn't we play as them?
