I know this is a little early to be asking this, but how about, simular to how h3 had odst, an h1 remake using reach's engine, complete with h1 mp map remakes. I know this might be a lot to ask for, but maybe it would be possible to convert the models from h1 to hr? Anyway, I would definatly buy it.
please post.

"You must be mistaken, Reclaimer. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name..."

I would quite certainly buy it. Halo: CE has the best storyline of any videogame I've played.

Yeah and it also should have a campaign too. And a Game mode exclusive for that expansion. But Halo: Reach itself will be really a great game(my hope), and its a FPS

It would be like making a full game. It IS making a full game. They would have to re do EVERYTHING. It wouldn't be worth the time despite how much i would like to see it happen.

Why hello there.

Microwave ovens are quite large.

WORT, WORT,WORT!

I would buy it, But it seems like a ton of work.

Yeah. I'm back. Whatcha gonna do about it?

I say maybe because of a few reasons.

1] No idea what the Reach engine will look like

2] Seems like ALOT of work to rewrite the scrypts for the game

3] Maps from Halo: CE could probably just be added in a map-pack anyway

Most likely the maps would be in the game on release(by maps, i mean Blood Gulch and Sidewinder).if anything, Bungie could just, i don't know, re-release its campain as a suppliment to the Reach campain?

Btw - polls on bungie.net mean absolutely nothing, so please don't use them to try and prove some kind of point.

they would probably lose money, since most people would just play online CE multiplayer and say to hell with anything else ever made.

I'd give it a whirl. I think it should be the game after Reach, though. Just called Halo. Which would actually work, since Halo was actually called Halo: Combat Evolved. Thus, legalities would allow it.

But if they did this, I would be all for buying it. I have a feeling it'd cause uncountable nerdrages, but I think I'd like to see how they render it. I would hope they do nothing to the feel of the levels and the tone of the story.
