Perception is everything.

ARGH! I want to slam your head into a table or something right now! I'm tired of these stupid questions! Yes, there will be freaking matchmaking in this brand new game!

Strictly speaking, no one knows anything about reach except that it's an FPS, that it's squad-based but without the negatives that come with a squad-based game, and what we've seen in the trailers.

However, Bungie has shown that they like to repeat themselves (in the good way). Matchmaking is likely to return (ergo Multiplayer as well), along with Theater, Forge, and probably even Firefight. Campaign will, of course, also be present. I hope they also put an Extras tab that they update often.

A Halo game without matchmaking is rare indeed (ODST being, of course, the exception of notice). Matchmaking's just the way to make a game's replay value shoot through the roof.

Actually, they are creating a new way to find games. It's called Call-and-Response, similar to the type of music. Basically, you enter the Call Lobby. You have to hit A as fast as you can, and whoever is hitting it the fastest in the entire world will enter another lobby. There you will enter the Response Lobby, where you will be asked five different questions, all having to do with college-level biochemistry and calculus. If you answer all five questions correctly, you will be sent to a lobby with other people waiting for play. Once the game is over, you must repeat the process.
