Like the weekly update quote says "Included in this last mad dash is some familiar lands, and yes, I can not be more specific." Some people think that this means there will be old halo MP maps like BG in halo 2 MP, but I think that the quote makes more sense if it meant that old Halo campaign environments or similar will be in Halo 2 MP. Imagine familiar parts of assault on the control room or the halo level being in Halo 2 multiplayer with improved graphics and additions. What parts would you like to see in Halo 2 MP

If you played PC and the level Timberland then you know what I am talking about, I think that it should be in there its extremely fun and fast paced.

"Help Help I'm being repressed! Come and see the Violence inherent in the system!"
"Bloody peasant!"
"Oh did you see that? you saw him repress me?"

I think that the outside of Silent Carotgrapher would make a brilliant MP map, imagine where you go up the path to unlock the door, having that as a back entrance to a base, while the main entrance would have a stationary gun, and you come in from the beach and take the hill, a semi D-Day map!

There was a Slient Cartographer map for multiplayer on the PC version, although of course it was scaled down to make it more fast-paced, and some modfiications were made.

I doubt any single-player levels will come back...mainly because Halo's pretty much toast, and that is where almost all except one level of the first took place. And the ship in the first level's pretty much toast too... =P

Blood Gulch coming back would not surprise me...wouldn't mind seeing Sidewinder or Hang 'Em High again either.

I think that the pyramid that you have to scale at the end of Assault on the Control Room would be perfect for a assault mission. You know bungie gave away this new gametype as a part of Beta testing. One team would defend the shrine with gun emplacements and booby traps while the other team would try to infiltrate and plant a bomb in the control room.
