I hope Bungie will not put Project Natal in Halo:Reach. I think it will ruin the Halo experience. Project Natal is more for little games or games for younger people. I hope they will not put it in, unless you can choose to turn it of.

-blam!- GTFO OF MY SIGNATURE

I don't mind. Just as long as it doesn't replace the controller.

The internet is a bad place.

IF they can do it right, with a big emphasis on IF,natal could be awesome in a halo game.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

From a practical standpoint, if it was present it would only be as an option, as Natal will not be a mainstream accessory the way MS would like it to be. That being said I would expect that if Natal were used in the game, it would be for some subtle immersion features. Metroid Prime 3 is a good example of how motion control can be used to make a game a little more interesting, without relying on it too much.

I personally don't think that Natal can function as the primary controller for most game types. It's a cool technology, but there has been no demo to give any reason to believe it is as accurate as an analog controller.

Bad Idea, Shooting games on the wii are horrible, could u imagine having to hold an invisible gun? I veto the Natal idea.

Exactly. Just because a game implements natal doesn't mean its a full implementation. Just like how you aren't forced to yell "shoot!" into your microphone when you want to fire your gun.

You could use it in forge to manually orient pieces you want to place by hand.

You could use the voice recognition technology to alter game options. "Computer: Mute coolguy384xxx. Computer: Set my sensitivity to 1, its sniping time."

You could even set up your account so that it can't be played on unless natal recognizes your face or your voice, so if it gets stolen because your too stupid to not fall for social engineering, nothing bad happens to your account.
