where is the first thread of this? The other was much better, anyway, does this thread have the glyphs triangulated yet?

More... or tons of intel will be available on December 07 troughout December 16-20 or so. We will just have to wait. Its gonna be worth it.

7th? Sure it sounds right OK, but what I've been waiting for is the 6th...
12/6, get it?

Oh and how do you know this?

  • 11.27.2009 4:41 AM PDT

I don't know if this was said yet, but if you look on this map you can see that there is an "X" somewhat near the middle(intersection of sectors 2, 5, 6, and 4). Keep in mind, this is the only "X" on the map. It seems a little far-fetched, but could this search be a matter of "X" marks the spot? Also, notice that if you were to draw a line connecting the stonehenge room in Sector 5 to the one in Sector 4, and a line connecting the stonehenge room in Sector 6 to where one should be in Sector 2, You would get another "X." This may not seem important, but this "X" intersects the "X" I mentioned earlier, creating Two "X's" marking the same spot. Once again, a little far-fetched, but we should definitley check out this spot.

Oh hai thar!

This thread is very intriguing.

If you fail on your first attempt, try cheating

Lol, I loved finding the dead piles of elites in garbage areas

Rockband & Guitar Hero MLG

After epic evenings of observing the phenomena of the SGP, I have discovered this:

Moving all 7 elites to the stonehenge does nothing. (Perhaps a firebomb grenade could burn them and trigger a scene?)

Stonehenge seems to represent the 7th Column logo w/o 7th column.

The "Sad" Virgil face on the tallest pillar of stonehenge is there almost every time. However, one such playthrough triggered it to not be there! It returned later after I suspected it would.

The SGP's Super Tri-Glyph (3 "Normal Virgils") in district 4 appear if one visits the "Empty Pod Yard." This area is unique; it is an empty drop-pod with some weapons, but on the ground around the pod, six rectangular burn marks appear around the pod with congruency to those of the stonehenge.

Every time I went to the district 4 wall it was blank until I visited the "Empty Pod Yard" (District 5? 3?). After, the three virgils appeared on the wall.

After killing the stonehenge engineers, the Super Tri-Glyph disappears.

Stonehenge engineers make DISTURBING sounds in the presence of a mongoose. (Gravemind-like growls, Elite noises [sound like sighs], growling engineer sounds)

Stonehenge Engineers observe no real pattern of observation.

The music in the stonehenge seems random at times, but that is the cause of phantoms and covenant in the area. Upon my first observation of the Jazz song in the area, I believed I had heard it early on in one of my first playthroughs of the game near a district 3 door. I soon realized that the stonehenge Jazz music is different and unique to that area.

It is hoped that others will report more info based on what is now known. Cheers!

EDIT: The lights can be destroyed with a crouched beatdown. (no effect)

Yes, it doesn't do anything. No, please don't talk about anything that can be conected to sacrificing, occultism or anything creepy like taht. I've got enough of that.

Stonehenge seems to represent the 7th Column logo w/o 7th column.
Perhaps.

The "Sad" Virgil face on the tallest pillar of stonehenge is there almost every time. However, one such playthrough triggered it to not be there! It returned later after I suspected it would.
Pics or didn't happen.
Sorry. Anyway, the glyphs change and dissappear pretty randomly, and even if the Sad SI Glyph wouldn't, a Bump would easily erase it.

Um...don't think this is from SGP. Or at least I don't remember it.
Come again?

Every time I went to the district 4 wall it was blank until I visited the "Empty Pod Yard" (District 5? 3?). After, the three virgils appeared on the wall.
Coincidence. Trust me.

After killing the stonehenge engineers, the Super Tri-Glyph disappears.
Again, coincidence. Srsly, Tri-Glyph is REAL random.

Stonehenge engineers make DISTURBING sounds in the presence of a mongoose. (Gravemind-like growls, Elite noises [sound like sighs], growling engineer sounds)
Not sure about mongoose (vid or didn't happen), could be. At least Brute shot does that.
Oh and it's just engineer sounds.

Stonehenge Engineers observe no real pattern of observation.
Correct.

The music in the stonehenge seems random at times, but that is the cause of phantoms and covenant in the area. Upon my first observation of the Jazz song in the area, I believed I had heard it early on in one of my first playthroughs of the game near a district 3 door. Could be...

You had good ideas though, so if you're not yet posted to SGP forum, I recommend that you do!

BTW, those Tri-Glyphs are from SGP. I'm talking about the one on the wall. The Pod Yard, however, is not. Try that mongoose thing sometime; it's interesting if you drive in a circle for about 5 minutes. The interesting thing about the Sad face is that I took the same route to the henge every time, and that particular time was different because of its absence. Obviously, I don't need a vid or pics to prove my case. ODST is a well-made VIDEOGAME for lord's sakes. Therefore, I'm not going to painstakingly review my actions just to say, "Here! I did it." I could be fabricating stupid events, but I'm not. Granted: most occurences are completely random. I had no intent of saying that events occur exactly in accordance to every exact action made in-game. Be creative. Explore. Share your ideas consciously with intent believed to aid others. We can all agree something is hidden in this game.

This represents me.

Has anyone camera free-roamed the first cutscene? I accidentally glitched and did it once, wondering if anyone found anything doing it.

I think the upside-down Y's refer to the artifact that the covenant were looking for in New Mombasa and that the big glowing circle is a halo installation. idk about all these other hypotheses.

Hello, and gooodbye!

i have unlocked all the doors in the shopping mall area twice (where u get 1 of the audio logs from) in district 9 leading to the rest of the blocked off area, but dont know how i did it, i presumed bungie were unlocking specific areas through updates but after going through this forum, realised i must have done something. the only thing i can recall doing both times is jacking the ghost near the start of nmpd hq and driving through every district killing everything on the way to district 9, i cant prove it because it was when ODST first came out & i hadnt been on this forum then but i kidd u not i have unlocked the doors twice but have not been eble to since was wondering has anybody else found this?

you go through a sector(maybe 2 i forgot) and then go near another but when you feel a little bump/small freeze, go back to the other sector adn if it says loading it hasn`t worked, if it doesn`t say loading open the door and explore the new changes

Been playing since pong, and you?

Anyone else see this? In a room where an audio log is found. Cant remember the sector but, can get it. There are trash bags that disappear during loads. Sometimes during spawn loads grunts will appear where the trash were.

  • 12.07.2009 8:54 AM PDT

dead mans loyalty

the glyphs are fore runner i suspect this as the glyphs on the triangles are things ive seen in the halo universe before
