Look at all the other pics, no there wasnt anything really but it proves that things can be opened, and that was on easy, right now im on Legendary, its the "Bumping" glitch trick that some guy posted a video of in the other thread.


PS if that comment about 'having too much time on your hands was towards me', im sick and its my day off. Why not go on ODST and look around?

Yeah definitely check it out on Legendary, certain skulls or all of them may have to be on... Keep looking and good job.

And I believe the time comment was to me so no worries.

It has been added to the resources section, good job... Why this may have been on purpose is because over the years Bungie seems to have gotten really good at glitch proofing their maps. For example the last DLC for Halo 2's MP.

Thought this was interesting while I was looking up ODST Glitches. I myself am saving up to get ODST :P But I thought I would try and help nonetheless, love a good egg hunt.

If you notice a little less then half way threw he looks at a certain wall with boxes on the wall, not sure if there are more like them but my point for showing this video is simply maybe the easter egg is hidden half way. To make more clear, to simply put; like how in Halo 2 with the energy sword, like I said on your previous thread. had to do a little roof climbing to get to it. Maybe you have to grenade jump to a certain area. Not to far then your out of the map. In order to find more glyphs or even something new.

I find it strange that in theater mode, you can't get the camera very high above the ground, but you are able to get the character even higher than the invisible "ceiling." Like Windward. This could mean that you have to jump a lot to find what you're looking for. In Halo 3, the camera went much higher than MC was able to go, but it makes no sense in ODST unless there was something you're not allowed to see unless you work for it.

(Could be a simple rendering issue, but I don't think so)

But yeah, I've been noticing Stonehenges Glyphs and Lanterns, but no obvious way to interact with them.

Has anyone tried shooting, hitting or trying to go threw these Stonehenge a certain way? I mean they had halo rings you had to walk threw in 3, why not something similar in ODST?

Tonight when I am hunting I will check them out too. Did you toggle the VISR on/off? It wouldn't be uncommon to make you do something very simple like walking through the dark streets blind

While cruising the streets of New Mombasa, I found a room halfway between the beacons for Uplift Reserve and Kizingo Boulevard (bottom right of sector 8) containing two engineers, a jackal sniper, an Audio Log, and a large glowing circle in the style of the Y's that symbolize something of significance. This isn't all that unusual in itself, but when I returned to the room something like an hour later, It was empty. No symbols, no circle, nothing. This REALLY spooked me, so i made tracks. I returned to the same room in half an hour's time, and everything was back in its original position. Can anyone corroborate this?

Maybe this easter egg is done in a certain time limit perhaps?

If someone with computer and Xbox access that is conveniently placed close enough to listen and type, then it would be greatly appreciated if you could record in writing the ambience and vocalisation in the Audio Logs.

Wow, I'm impressed. I thought the glyphs didn't hold any secrets and they were just there for show, and that the secret door was just some glitch, but I went and tried it myself several times and it's no glitch. Every time I look at the glyphs and come back the door opens. I'm curious what other secret doors will open after looking at certain glyphs. If anyone feels like hunting around for stuff send me a friend request.

User blstu08 brings up an interesting point here. It's almost as if they want it to be impossible to simply fly around and look, and are instead forcing the player to find it on foot... Which has a much more rewarding feeling in my opinion, and adds a challenge! More evidence supporting the theories.

This vast darkness, is it just empty space within the borders of the sectors? Or dark empty streets?

Would you be able to download the sector map and mark it in MS paint? Or take a picture in game with a waypoint on the location? Either way this is something that should be added to the Map of Interest.

There is a legendary ending to this game. *spoilers*







It has a bunch of engineers floating around the structure that held the SI a lot more of the "glyphs" were visible as well i think. Then Truth flew dwon in his hover chair, displayed a face that looks sort of like thoughtful mix of a frown and smile, when he raises his hand then leaves. The engineers then fly towards the direction Truth raised his hand, and the camera pans to show a gigantic hole in the wall that was like a big blue bubble concealing a large metal objets that appears to have been built by the Forerunners. It wasn't the Ark. I have no idea.

Has anybody tried climbing around where the SI is located? If so is it possible to climb down into the abyss? It's possible that something is down there...

By the way, we haven't found something true to halo games. Which is the hidden rambling Grunt, maybe in this case it will be an Elite... Either way it's missing, and it has always been Bungie's style to include such a character. Just some food for thought.

I showed my friend this thread and the only thing he can add to this is that when walking around on one occasion he heard an elite scream and heard a blaster then died.

I need to get on this game and play!
