How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

Posted by: Dam Its Iceman
Im going to have to explain because you guys are not listening. In the other thread someone posted a video about, "bumping", where you can open doors to get out into the black areas on the map. The video is 100% Real. All day today I have been on here trying to do what they did and it worked. In my fileshare I have pics to prove. Also, poeple have been talking about these "glyphs", these are also key. The glyphs where therer are dead elites and the word BELIEVE is written on the wall is one of the main ones that opened the door I opened. You have too look at those glyphs, walk back (stay in the same sector) and look at those other glyphs and go back to the door. If its not open go back and kill the jackal if he respawns. i dont have a clear exact way because I was doing alot of things at once so I dont know what triggers them or not. I have been trying to tell you people to look in my file share the pics but no one is listening. i am not a troller, spammer, I am on the same page you guys are and I just so happened to do this. If you watch the vid, he clealy explains what to do.

LOOK IN MY FILESHARE^^^^PROOF THAT I OPNED DOORS

I looked in your fileshare. NADA!

I confirmed the find by GooGooFluffers. The "access button" does appear when the Super TriGlyph appears. It's not there when the BSP initially loads.

I only check these B.Net threads occasionally as I'm up to my ears with similar research over at the SGP. One thing I'd like to caution you about: be sure to start with a non-bumped version of the area you are researching. Many people seem to report things they believe are related to glyphs that are actually the result of accidental bumping (I am painfully aware of this after the infamous "Glyph Unlock" video!)

How do you make sure the "sector" (people erroneously call Districts "sectors" here... when in Rome...) you are in is not bumped? Unbump it! Just travel two districts away. In other words, travel until you see the "Loading... done" message twice, then return to where you want to research. Yet another way to express this: travel away until there is one district between the one you are standing in and the one you want to research. In the case of "sector" four, you would want to travel to either "sector" 00 (Kikowani Station) or "sector" 08 before returning.

The "access button" looks like a hose hookup to me... perhaps for a fire department? I think I have seen these elsewhere. I wouldn't call it a "button", but again- when in Rome...

 • 10.17.2009 2:27 AM PDT

Finally, someone else besides me is looking into this! As for calling it a "button", I was mostly basing that off the fact that it does have the word access on it. And access to me meant opening a door or something...I don't know.

Anyways, as it stands right now:

There are 3 access buttons that I have found in the plazas.

One of them only appears when the Super Triglyph is there.
(This one interests me the most)

After I traveled to the stonehenges, one (or two, I don't remember) of the other buttons was gone.

Thats really it for now, if more people would look into it, we might find something...then again, these buttons might be nothing, but the fact that the plaza is covered in glyphs (particularly the area around the far stairs) makes me think that there is something important there.

NOT AGAAAIIIINNN

 • 10.17.2009 10:34 AM PDT

What would be more interesting to me is to see if the "access" circle (or its wall) changes at all when the Super TriGlyph is replaced by the Super DiGlyph and the Super MonoGlyph. I made a few attempt to get the Super Di to appear before I crashed last night, to no avail.

Good to know

 • 10.17.2009 11:45 AM PDT

If anyone ones to team up with me and research this in Co-Op My gamertag is CarbonizedGoat7.

 • 10.17.2009 11:50 AM PDT

It doesn't change at all unless it is the Super Triglyph. I'm 95% sure.

just a random easter egg

on lost platoon the is a smiley face in the rock.

Could you get a few pictures of it? I plan to put in an Easter Egg section when enough of them are found.

Well I'm definitely going to be looking into this! It seems more believable than the old secret of Sandtrap.

Sorry if this has been answered, I am very much out of the loop here, but has anyone discovered the "fan pleasing" feature that occurs upon listening to all of the Audio-logs?

As far as I know this event has not been witnessed or recorded. Nobody here knows what happens as far as I know... But I seem to remember someone saying nothing happened when they were finished listening to them. But I think in the tease video it says you have to find all the Audio-logs in one shot or something only in mombasa streets, AKA excluding the Data Hive log.

A point I'd like to bring up about Sectors potentially being blank. Upon coming up to an enterable Sector door you get a load that briefly can freeze your game, which shows evidence of things loading. They obviously wouldn't have every guy walking around in every loaded Sector at one time, my point being that maybe glitching in to the Sectors might not show us anything more then its unloaded state.

when u find all audio logs then when u get to the gut scene were you find vergil instead of dare telling rookie not to shoot rookie tells dare not to shoot and tells vergil to come out by whistling

Maybe this has been thought of before and covered, but I haven't seen it. Has anybody recorded the effects of various skulls when interacting with glyphs, engineers, etc?

In the area were the believe painting on the wall is with the dead elites look on the floor around the elites closest to the believe sign and there is two empty energy sword handles with those wierd markings on them.

i cant take a picture because i dont have a hard drive to go on theatre mode

 • 10.17.2009 2:50 PM PDT

Has anyone tried using pancam to explore?

 • 10.17.2009 2:50 PM PDT

I would like to help look for Eggs, oh and something very wierd just happened, I was investigating the stonehenge area (the one with the stones and glyphs) and i stood in the middle and music started playing (not the chieftan music) so I looked around the area a bit more then returned to the middle of the circle and i crouched and meleed one of the stones and one of the engineers made a wailing noise and the music abrubtly stopped... this freaked me out a lot

 • 10.17.2009 3:38 PM PDT

Checked out the city in pan cam, its pretty neat.

It's only possible to get out on the area by ONI Alpha site for now, though.

My previous post about the glyphs dissapearing on the pillar. Turns out the believe also dissapeared on that wall.

i think the "keep fiddling" egg is very mysterious.

merrr... I wanna help

 • 10.18.2009 11:28 AM PDT

I don't mean to keep pushing this, but if you want to help, go check out the plazas and the access buttons to see if you can find anything new. Perhaps try visiting the Stonehenges and then visiting the plazas and see if anything is happening.

 • 10.18.2009 12:21 PM PDT

what is the keep fidiling egg?

 • 10.18.2009 4:38 PM PDT

Just thought of this, but what if the SI sad face in stonehenge is a hint. With the multiple faces, maybe it changes as you do things right. The sad face would make sense meaning you have not triggered anything yet.

 • 10.18.2009 5:13 PM PDT

not sure if this is important, but on the map rally point the supply cache/monster closet in the front has a superintendent glyph in it.

That might work. too bad we dont know what we have to trigger that could change the faces. Ill try and look at this. maybe if we run around the city enough, doing random things, we can see if the faces change.

Some cool philosophies from The World Ends With You (DS)

The World Ends with You........ Give up on yourself, and you give up on the world.

Only by allowing strangers in can we find new ways to be ourselves.
The World Ends with You is one of the best games on DS, buy it if you have a DS.

(This was posted in the original forum too.)
Just found a possible idea for the theory that this is like IWHBYD.I'll have to draw a diagram, so here goes.

District 6

StoneHenge room:

(Sorry about the stonehenge, the forums won't let me do spacing like I need just imagine that thy're in a circle)

Starting with the bottom left pillar, going CLOCKWISE, I'll number the bottom left #1, the one above it #2, top left #3, etc etc.

The bottom left is also the one with the Sad SI symbol.

Now, to the point of the post. When you walk in, either from the security door or the other door, there are two engineers. When you walk in just a little bit, they do not notice you.

One (for me and some others) starts to examine with it's light one of the pillars.. Then it moves on to a different one, then a different, etc. I watched this and recorded the pattern of it observing pillars in this order, according to the numbering I mentioned earlier: 2,1,3,5,3,5,3,3.

This is what I saw, but then they noticed me and started flying around. I don't know if the pattern will be different for others. I tried to shoot the pillars with the carbine on the ground, and it seemed that some new music played that I hadn't heard before. I'll try some more, but I think this could be a type of lead.

The keep fiddling egg is pretty easy. On the ending scene, you push down on one of the two joysticks, I forget which, and look to your left. Thers a monkey. Yahoo.
