Me and my friend were playing Co-op campaign on Halo 3 the other day, and he was telling me how in CoD as you rank up in the online multi player, you unlock new guns and perks to use. So I thought it would be cool if in reach you could have a campaign rank that would work similarly to that. Beat a level on easy and you get to use your custom spartan avatar from the multi player (if an appearance editor is included) on that level. Beat it on normal, and you could get choose any weapon(s) you wanted to start that level. On Heroic, you could be able to edit the player traits for that level, and on legendary you can get the level on Forge (if included in the game)so you could put things where you want them to be. Also, if there was a matchmaking co-op then you could have skill tracked for having the most points in the campaign round. I know this idea is far from perfect, but I thought it sounded cool. Ideas?

i vote fully customizable weapons and armor upgrades. FULLY customizable lie buy different rounds scopes silencers lazer sights muzzles stocks triggers etc all changing the behaviour of the gun. this would only apply to campaign of course and you could purchase them with points you have earned. it would add alot of replayability to the campaign because you would try to upgrade every weapon in the halo arsenal to exactly how you want it.
