It's finally here! After 5 weeks of hard work, short nights of sleep and a lot of pizza for dinner. I'm very proud to present my Beta release of Host a Tournament.

So what's new?

-This forum, after you register on http://www.generationheadshot.com a forum account is created with the same username and password. This way you don't have to sign up twice and can start posting right away.

-Tournament layout, you all might remember the very basic tournament layout which wasn't that clear.

Thanks to Astr0s who made a concept of a new layout and produced the CSS, I was able to update the tournament layout to my liking.

-Different groups for tournaments, Free 4 All, Team vs Team, Clan vs Clan or even Interclan!
It's all possible for you to use.

-Public Profile page, each member that registers has a profile public profile page which can be seen by all.
Most info on this page can be edited, also an avatar can be uploaded to give your character a bit more look.

-Tournament Creation options have been expanded so that all the rules are clear even a box for additional info can be filled.

-After a host creates a tournament invites will be send to all members participating.
This means that those members have 5 days to either accept or reject the invite.
If after those 5 days 8 or more players accepted the tournament the tournament will be created.

There are still some other functions but I'll let you guys explore that on your own ^_^

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Your effort is admirable, but any hopes of HPC being an over-the-web competitive platform were dashed years ago.

Appreciate the honesty! Let me try and explain it a bit.
To me Host a Tournament is a good project to practice combinations of HTML,PHP,SQL,CSS and JavaScript and learn from the feedback other people give.
Meaning that no matter what happens to the success rate of this website, I will always have more experience and better insight than I did before. Which to me is useful for possible (Non HPC related?) future projects.
I'm well aware I won't reach the majority of HPC with this project, nor will I get the success rate that most websites aim for. But as long as a small group of gamers has fun using the website and enjoys playing tournaments, I'll be glad to keep updating and expanding its features.

Im a Bungie veteran. I have and always will serve them well.

Only problem for online tournaments is the use of Aimbots cause many people use them.

Do you even know what this guy has done in the past?

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

Good idea, but Halo PC is plauged with Aimbotters. Of course, there are more popular games with aimbotters, where bans are delayed.

You need a sightjacker and a auto-kicking program good luck.

I upload a video demo, a bit too long I guess. But for those who are interested and are not too sure how the website works should have a look.
