i think that they should have a 15 mission unsc story then a 5-7 mission covie story

Yeah, but it should be like 2/3 UNSC and then 1/3 Covies, or 75% UNSC and 25% Covie but the reason for 75% UNSC is because you get to have different perspectives like in ODST but only 1 or 2 perspective(s) on the Covie side. I'd like the latter though

And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller

I would love to play as the bad guys. I just don't like marines as much as I like the covy, plus, the covy vehicles look cooler than the unsc ones.

Some people loved this yes

And again loads of people will of course want it here but it's out of place at this time and Bungie knows this

What Bungie did with Halo2 was both a great inclusion but also very stupid in how it was done - it delighted while at the same time p!55ed a lot of fans off.Two seperate campaigns would have been far better as it wouldn't have caused such a divide

So yes very stupid and Bungie would tell you this themselves

It's not that this style of campaign mixed the way it was, was badly done in any way but unless it was Bungie's plan to absolutely alienate a very big percentage of it's adoring fans, then yes Bungie stuffed up big time

Yup a fact and one that i'm sure Bungie isn't keen to repeat

1. yes many loved it

2. how is it out of place? it could show the brutality of the covenant, it could show the beginnings of the elites questioning the prophets ideals. it could show the growing rift between elites and brutes. and besides bungie can do whatever they want.

3. i was pretty annoyed that the arbiters story was not separate in halo 3, i wanted to play as the arbiter in more than just co-op. (many others feel this way) but hey i got over it. if bungie wants to they'll add one, people are gonna have to get over it.

4. so you just happen to know what bungie is thinking?

5. so no, an opinion =/= fact, try again.

Shouldn't they have more Covie vehicles in multi maps? or atleast more Covie vehicles anywhere?

Bungie would tell you differently

It's your opinion and i'm glad you think it isn't a fact, i however think it is

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

I'm not sure how it would work, as the Humans would be allot easier to kill than Elites, but I think it may be fun
Humans aren't equivalent to Elites. Humans are more like Grunts or Jackles. In a Covanent campaign, there is no real equal to Elites on the UNSC side. Spartans are more powerful than Elites, regular humans are too weak.
If you have a carbine, you will murder marines.

AND NOT LIKE HALO 2. 2 SEPARATE CAMPAIGNS, LOADED SEPARATELY.

Yes you do get over there being two campaigns, it's just a shock is all

All the chief missions i personally love for Halo2 and there are also 3 great Arbiter missions i find - and who doesn't like going into battle with a pair of hunters

Of course there is nothing anyone could do were Bungie to go this way again, but it's highly unlikely given how stung they were from the first time

Were this inclusion such a great idea to the point that everyone was crying out for it again, why wasn't it in Halo3

The fact remains Bungie knows of the mistake it made regardless of if it was a good inclusion or not

And yes concerning knowing what Bungie is thinking, like many here will too, i do know, certainly with this

I think 2 campaigns may return at some point as it was hardly a bad idea in the first place.Bungie did very well with it and looking back they will know this also. But ultimately Bungie would have looked back and concluded that Halo2 should have been quite different, and really that's hardly difficult for any one of us to predict about Bungie's opinion here

I'm quite happy thinking this as fact

idk. i missed the double campain in Halo2. like... we can play as the bad guys or something. just to see what it would be like. so we can play as an elite or a brute. elites are prefered more. i don't really wanna be a giant monkey.

But Brutes are so cool, what cheiftans and war cheiftans....
and invisible dudes!

I want a single. You can either have one long, well fleshed out single campaign, or two short campaigns in a double.
I'm not against the idea of a double campaign, but the idea having two skimpy stories doesn't fit well with me. I wouldn't mind a spectacular UNSC campaign, and a shorter DLC campaign as the Covenant.

you could 2 "well fleshed" capains on 2 disks.

definatley double

All roads lead to Sol.

I'd love a covenant campaign, It would make you empathise more for the humans, because now you are inflicting your horrible reign of terror on humans and killing Spartans would be amazing.

Defiantly playing as an elite of sorts though.

Bungie won't make you kill marines, that's why you killed heretics as the arbiter.
I do like the idea, and I think it would be sick, but bungie won't make it happen.
They want to release their games everywhere in the world, and in certain countries (germany, japan, australia) the game probaly wouldn't come out if you would have to kill marines.

Stand away from the shotgun pal
Will always remember for being famous on the Bungie cams. :)
Is Eternally grateful for Bungie helping me rock'recon :D

I'm not sure if a playable covie campaign would be good, however specific cutscenes, following the story of a Elite General would be interesting. It could show the inner sociology of the covenant, and the conspiracy around the Jiralhenea becoming the Prophets rulers. And so on,
even something on Reach that the Elite is lost in this world.

Who knows, I do think that having something more then just the Human's side of the war would be interesting. Emphasise should be on the SPartan's,UNSC,Reach. But It would be a nice break to have something on the other story arc aswell.

You can kill them in any halo game. That's why I wrote make you.
They won't force you to, won't make it your objective to kill marines.

Double. After all, in FoR, the Covenant wanted Reach for something other than burning.

True, but the Covenant are too powerful compared to the UNSC.
