...if you want, I can spin kick you in the face and we can both see how effective it is.
You do your flowery little pirouette kick and if you don't fall over trying to do it I'd be surprised if the person you're trying to kick doesn't just push you over instead of standing around waiting to get a foot in the mouth. Real life aint like your Tae Kwon Do class.

No obnoxious fatality animations in Halo, never, no thanks. Halo doesn't need it.

Because Tae Kwon Do is all about being super slow and lethargic in your movements. /sarcasm

I'd love to see you "push over" a person before they Tornado Kick your teeth out.

Welcome to the internet, where the men are men, the women are men, the children are police officers and everyone is correct all the time, even when they are wrong, and where opinions are more valid with the more swear words you include with them.

they kinda already implemented this in boarding vehicles. that is probably as far as bungie will go.

bring back the spectre

FOREVER LIVE HALO

That would have to much gore in it, its not Halo like.

Hey

Jet Li and Cliff Blezsinksi would approve, but not us.
Get out.

Wow, If only Cliff was lead designer for Halo 3, then that idea would be awesome! So much blood... destroying the covenant race would be sooo much more fun. If only EPIC games took over after this game. =(

TKD is about ineffective,flashy moves.

LOL at your video. That guy deserved to get kicked, he stood still and did nothing for like a whole second while the other guy accidentally danced into his face.

But back on topic, these flashy moves aren't something I want in Halo and the only people asking for more gore in the game are children and people with the mentality of children.

And the only people who would post something like that without scientific proof, or a good reason other than them just being idiots are children and people with the mentality of children.

Ironic much?

Scientific proof? Would you like me to set up control groups and do statistical analysis? How about, I've been around these forums for a long time and seen a thousand people present their 'O my godzor ORIGINAL' idea that Halo needs more gore. The mentality of these people is easily discernable based on their reasoning and arguing abilities.

I suspect this guy was trolling, he contradicted himself several times.

Moral of the story, don't argue with irrational people. Half the time the only truthfully irrational part of their actions is the enjoyment gotten out of tricking people over the internet to make arguments.

This is best solved by saying Jonzx5 is trying to over complicate halo and make it something it isn't. He should just go play GOW 2 or Assasins Creed.

Also he's a a fat looser because he threatened to spin kick someone over the internet. Thats such a fat kid thing to say.

Posted by: Jonzx5
Also, if you want, I can spin kick you in the face and we can both see how effective it is.

What an Ubernerd

Lawl...I did not "threaten" to kick him, I was trying to prove that "spin kicking" is very effective, not just for show.
Your a hypocrite. You just Called someone "a fat kid" over the internet...so in you're own words, you are a "looser".

For the 10th time, its not about the gore, its about a NEW combat system. If it makes you happy, forget about the gore when smashing grunts into the ground. Also, I said that I would like to see something SIMILAR to this, the least they can do is let you toss grunts. It's not over the top, and hardly envolves gore, since you all seem to be disturbed by it.

i personally feel like there should at least be slightly more gore. slightly. When a grunt gets shot in the head by a battle rifle, and a his head is perfectly intact, not even a texture to show where he was hit, it ruins the realism for me. Im not saying i'd like to see grunts being ripped limb from limb, but i really want to at least see hit textures (Halflife series is a good example). It makes it seem more real. If anything should be done gore-wise to make halo seem darker, it should be that.

I was in 5th grade. I popped in the Halo CE disc into the massive, clunky first generation Microsoft Xbox, and wrapped my small hands around the controller that was almost too big for me. Little did I know what I was getting into.

10+ years later, I still look up to my childhood hero, Master Chief, while everyone talks about He Man and Spongebob haha

He actually has a very valid point, leave him alone.

I need not remind you that this is Bungie's last Halo game, so think about this; would it really be well received by everybody?

In the books, Spartans are depicted as efficient killers, but also posess super strength and engage in hand to hand combat with the covenant.

In short, a little bit more gore or blood would do the game good, and so would quick, brutal combat moves, but it shouldn't be unnecessary or over the top.

There has to be the perfect amount to something.

For instance, breaking off a grunt's arm and leavning him to die would be all right, but the whole grenade in his mouth is unnecessary when the same result could be achieved simply...by just throwing a grenade into the group of enemies.

Well that would be cool but if your playing solo you could die while your countering someone and marines most likely wouldnt be alive.Unless it had its own level for that and I could also see people wanting to do stuff like that in custom games for like gladiator or something else.
