i fell that now cheating is at it's strongest, with downloading and purchasing "mod's" for your xbox or halo2, wheres thge fun? i mean to buy somthing just to make your level a 50 faster is just dowwn right pathetic, iot aint gonna get u a girl friend and sure as hell aint gonna get u a job, and i'm not saying this as a pissed off gamer whos just played a crummy game with cheaters but a concerned fan of halo2. Its these hacks that take away from the game, i mean why bother have matchmaking when it is just a one sided game, i mean i can understand why people might say that using hacks or glitches in custom games to explore or mess around but by even using them there infulences others to use them in matchmaking and besides its not likely that somone would buy a mod for 70$ only to use it in a custom game. The consumer wants to see it's purchased product put to what it was made for. But the same can be said for the people who bought halo2, they bought it to play it, to kill their friends, to enjoy an almost perfect first person shooter, are we going to let cheaters just ruin this for us? Of course not! HELL NO!... But what can we do? the player? send feedback? heck they even have mod's to delete them too! so what should be done? well why should we ask ourseleves? why not ask bungie? i dont want to sound like an ass but seriously you guys are the ones to go to and if you cant even keep a lid on basic feedback systems and stuff like that, then hasnt your creation, your invention fallen victim to the people who cheat? is it really your game anymore? is it ours? i mean you guys can put in new maps and new updates, but it seems like once they're released to the public, its probbed! screwed with, people are jumpin here bouncing there i mean when will it stop? i guess thats one question we the fans can answer, i dont mind exploration or even a bit of glitching just to see whats over the horizan or over the mountain, but take it like you would drink, only where it's appropriate and only a few times cuz once you keep doing it you'll become drunk with power, well not really but in custom games you'll bring yourself to do it in matchmaking, and lets be honest, if none of your friends are online where else are you gonna go to play a game with people?
So in conclusion to my very long and very miss spelled speech, i feel that no one can ultimantly stop it since ofcousre to know more is in our human nature but dont glitch and mod in our matchmaking games, thats our games and your games too. and as a once glitcher/ cheater i know that eventually it just get boring and that its no more fun, and as a person whos games have been screwed with i know not to do it and to just enjoy the game, cuz thats what it was made for.
