First off, If you would hide the rank numbers and keep them only for matchmaking purposes like you keep saying, people wouldn't be trying to gain as many levels as they can and they would just play because its fun. The overall rudeness would stop, and people that are playing just to see how high of a rank they get will eventually stop playing and only the hardcore halo fans would remain. The rank numbers are your biggest problem.
Secondly, The leaderboards are still infected with cheaters and modders. rank should be based upon overall gameplay, hit%, medals, headshots, and especially assists. NOT JUST KILLS!!! I can't count how many times i'd shoot at someone and some killhog would come up and steal my kills or throw a grenade in the middle of a firefight, while their own teammates are caught up in the blast, just to get the most kills in the game, therefore the most experience on the team. It sucks major ass. Why put all of those stats in the game if nothing is based upon them. Its a total waste of space.
Lastly, Are superbounces considered cheating? Not everyone knows how to do them and not everyone will show you how. I know how to do a few but I think its cheap when someone uses them in a ranked match. I thought the use of glitches in ranked games is considered cheating??? Please clarify.
Overall halo is the best FPS game by far, I have many and it never leaves my Xbox. Too bad so many losers play this game they ruin it for everyone. Most software companies don't give a crap about cheaters ruining their customers gaming experience (Like EA Games with need for speed underground 2) But you guys kick ass Bungie!!!!!
