good idea but last mission should be way past halo3 since well u know, we dont know how long elites live so lots of gameplay

  • 10.16.2009 3:57 PM PDT

Uhm, I'm pretty sure that the Arbiters were people who shamed the Covenant or disobeyed some sort of law and were sentenced to shameful death in battle, so why would they send that person to kill the leaders of the other races, when they could just send in a general?

That would be sweet! like you play as the arbiter who engages the UNSc for the first time then we play as a very futuristic arbiter against really futuristic brutes or something! nice!

no not all arbiters were people who were ashamed or something. And have you ever played halo 2? you are sent to kill the leader of the hieretics! Arbiters are sent on suicidal missions, so invading a planet is pretty suicidal! lol

This would be very interesting, to see internal Covenant events through an Arbiters point of view, sounds like a great idea for a game. Maybe even an expansion of Halo Reach, like ODST was for Halo 3.

Yes I have played Halo 2, but he was sent for exactly that reason, it was a suicidal mission, he was not expected to succeed, he was meant to die. And I think it would make more sense if they sent in a army lead by a general instead of a strike force lead by a outcast.

The arbiter wasnt always an outcast, its an honor to be an arbiter. he could be a general who became an arbiter or something! Why wouldnt they want a highly skilled spec ops elite to go on important missions?

You obviously don't understand. Arbiters are outcasts, it was only chance that the arbiter at that time was a General, and is probably the only reason he lived. Most arbiters are outcasts of the Convenient, meaning that most of them wouldn't have the military skills to be 'spec ops', they could simply send in elites or hunters that were specifically trained to be 'spec ops', instead of taking chances with an Arbiter without that kind of training.

Third, Halo: reach will be the last Halo game by Bungie. sad face.
Until Bungie realizes it was retarded by saying that and makes a new Halo game anyway.

Well, before saying its retarded for bungie to stop. Think about one of their well known mottos. "We make games WE want to play" If they dont want to play anymore halo games, they wont make them. HOWEVER 343 industries is going to make a few games, go send them your idea.

where does it say the arbiters are outcasts? and anyways if they are outcasts then the covenant have nothing to lose by sending him into battle rather then there smart, and important generals. And invading a planet sounds pretty sucidal and arbiters are sent on sucidal missions, so yeah! be happy!

If I had any dignity, that might have been degrading.

I HATE FLAMERS! But this would be awesome. it would be cool if you played as an Arbiter during the taiming of the hunters, and the grunt rebelian, and possibly the battle of reach? I don't know, but it would rock. I hope reach isn't the last halo game. I think bungie enjoyed making halo. so why not make more?

A cool idea would be that for a few missions, you play as the arbiter whe all know, or that cool looking guy from halo wars. Any way, i wan't to get this game if it comes out.
