Well, since the dawn of Halo 2 for Live, people have been digging to the bottom trying to find an easier way to the top. Just like Counter Strike, Halo 2 cheaters thrive on finding better ways to cheat once the cheat could be analized and an antidote is made. Cheating was first introduced into the Halo 2 Live world in the form of Standby. A simple button found in the back of your modem that says clearly enough, Standby. Well after months of research trying to find an answer, Bungie has found a way to recognize and ban standby-ers. But along side of standby-ers, people are also finding a way to "legally" glitch inside the matchmade game, such as the "Dummy Glitch", "Super Jumps", "Bomb/ Flag Glitch", "Sword/Rocket Rush" (all of which I found very useful.) Bungie can not ban these gamers because they simply found a flaw in the game design. But instead, they fixed the problem and SOME of these glitches were never heard of again :( . But just when you think all is right in the world of Halo 2 Live, cheaters resurface, bigger, badder and more powerful then ever, but the best part is that Bungie has failed to make a full proof system to block these gamers :).
Now after being in exile for months, Cheating Kingpins and Godfathers have resurfaced with a near full-proof way to beat the system. Well just to name a few, many might remember the "Invincible" Clan once known as Blazed Playas. Level 50 Minor Clan, unbanned members, and cheat like no other. And just before the reset of stats, Bungie banned ALL members and all associated members from Xbox Live, but they have waited patiently with their other accounts. Former Overlord AceShotYa (now known as AceShotYa420) and second in command BP Bluntz420 (now known as BP Shadows420) has have branched off forming two separate organizations (original clan names still underterminded due to Boosting) to do all of the above (Hack, Standby, Glitch, Boost) and in the end see who is still left standing.
Their weapon of choice: Hacking on Warlock & Containment.
There are many forms of Hacking that people don't usually know about. For example: Auto Aim, Infinite Gernades, Auto Superjump, Blindlying Fast Speed, and Modded Game Types In Your Favor. Remember that custom game Dreadnaut that most people don't play. Well it's like that times ten, but your the only Juggarnaut (unless someone else your playing with has the hacks too :) ), and IF they kill you (then you deserved to be killed when your as close as you can get to being invincible :P ) then when you respawn you will still be Superman. One for example where all are put together is known as Modded Warlock. This and Containment are the only games (until the next map release) that modders can mod on because they are downloadable maps. But if your really good, then you can mod all maps for custom games and pretty soon all games. The modders in Warlock simply get Auto Aim, Blindlying Fast Speed, Auto Superjump, and a Battle Rifle, superjump to the top of the map, and let the Hacks do all the skill for them.
(I'm just listing so excuse the sentence layout)
PROS: Hackers can EASILY win. If you ever wanted to have more power in this game, Hacking is YOUR answer. Cheap thrills that will always leave you wanting more. An experience like no other. Removes all stress of worring that you might lose the next game you play, thus, lossing your level. Being the "main guy" in your team. Always having people play with you, taking advantage of you and the powers you possess. There are many ways to avoid being banned if you know how the system works. You can hack only if you have a modded Xbox and moddinng costs $$$ (which means that the number of people able to do this is limited, increasing the chances that you will be playing people without modded xboxes). Or if you just love to be an -blam!- (like meh sometimes), hacking will get people spewing -blam!- out of there mouths like no other.
CONS: Hackers will eventually get banned if their not careful or if they don't know how the system works in order to avoid detection :) (lucky me). If you get caught they will either black list you from Bungie.net, ban your account, ban your Xbox, or suspend you off of Xbox Live for a week or two. It's pretty sad that you do need hacks & mods to aim, jump, run and straight up be good. People will report you. All you can play is Warlock and Containment, but when the new maps come out you can mod in those too :). Modding an Xbox costs $$$. Modding your Xbox even though after this November you probably won't be utilizing it.
Well looks like the Pros overweights the Cons, but the consquenses are still severe.
Final Thought - Well if you think you can get away with modding or if you just have no skill whatsoever that you need mods in order to win, mod your Xbox. But if not wait till this November go online and buy a Premodded Xbox 360 or be straight up legit and don't mod. If your against people do that mod, hack, standby, etc. well then this site is for you. http://phreaktor.tripod.com/ Some funny ass videos given by many gamers about modding, hacking, standby, etc.
Thanks for your time people.
