None of the previous Halo games have been stellar in terms of graphics (well maybe the first one but that was years back). Halo 2, Halo 3, and ODST haven't really kept up with the graphical powerhouses of gaming. I think it would really help Reach if the graphics were really good. No one expects it to be outstanding visually, so if they can make it happen with this new engine it would add something a little different to the Halo series. And I know gameplay is more important than graphics, but graphics definitely help make a game better.

Your thoughts?

Bring Forth; the Banhammer

Where's my Mythic Member Status Bungie, eh?

What are you talking about? Halo 2 was like the best looking game on the consoles back in 2004.

It will probably end up looking like or better than E3 2006 trailer which was all In-Engine for Halo 3, but was cut back due to lack resources available.

War, War never changes.

Got my Recon from the Vidmaster achievments, like most.
Reach IS awesome, don't deny it

Hazardous there is no need for that. I believe that Bungie are gonna pull every trick in the book for Reach. No doubt it will be amazing, however i would like to see the power of the AAA Engine in action. If anyone knows of a game that used this engine please PM me.

Nothing Bungie does will ever be able to compete with this, I'm afraid. Sadface. Unless Bungie surprise us all. I hope so.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

-blam!- graphics.
