In Halo 3, before any other playlist, there was the Boot Camp playlist for our first few fights in Halo 3, to train us before any other playlist. Seeing how people play now, i'm sure as Hell that it wasn't enough training for everyone.

I believe not a few games of Free For All is enough training to get used to a game, but an entire Training Session for multiplayer should be, even for a common "newbie".

Starting off with the simple crouch walk to shooting pallets, throwing grenades, and punching training will unlock the Rumble Pit playlist. When you get to the higher levels of multiplayer like Big Team Battle, the Training mission would involve using equipment(if there is equipment), using heavy guns, and operating large vehicles and transport vehicles.

Stuff like EXP Weekend and Action Sack would still be available with or without training.

The setting for the training grounds would be in two places :

1. In an ONI base for small arms fireing and using equipment
2. Outside base for vehicle and heavy weapon testing

I think there should also be an anouncer guy/girl talking to you and helping you go through the training.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

You mean I would basically have to go through tutorials before playing certain playlists? No thanks.

I kinda like the idea but I also don't like the idea in a way so I can't really answer.

If it were optional and not forced so halo players who already are experianced with the game didn't have to do with it I guess I wouldnt mind but I would take up some disc space which could be used for other things for the game as a whole.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

You shouldn't have to unlock stuff, but yes I agree with a tutorial.

That's what I forgot, thanks.

Like the game will see that you are like a high rank in past games so you don't have to do training.

And it wouldn't be that much of a waste of space if the maps were made for BTB and RP, just to where Bungie made a couple signs for the trainee, like in forge, at the beggining a prompt box pops up and says "press up on the D pad to forge". Or would it.
