Subject: Will Reach be a let-down?

"Everyone is capable of doing extraordinary things, each in his own way. Some are perfectly happy doing simple things in good spirits, others, however, concentrate on details. We are all different, and it really doesn't matter if you focus on space travel or work in the fields. What is important is to do what you really want."

I realize that we don't really know anything about Halo:Reach; we can only speculate. So, I ask you: Do you think Reach will be a let down? Think about ODST: it was a fun game, I'll give it that, but personally I was a little let down. Your opinions?

Well with it been about 3-4 years in the making I belive it has the chance to be as brilliant as CE was.

Ohh and ODST was made in just over a year so don't compare it to Reach.

The no option is the top one

Bungie are about the best there is but although in many ways the sequels have proved better in a number of ways, they have simply not measured up to how epic and satisfying Halo1 felt as a whole

Halo1 was an epic believable journey through beautifully long levels with many interesting encounters in each of them

So far Bungie has seemingly tried it's best to avoid what it was that made the first in the series so captivating

Fingers crossed it will be an excellent game(and lets face it, there hasn't actually been a bad Halo fps so far)in that usual Bungie way, but it needs to be better than just a typically good Bungie Halo game, it needs to be as good as Halo1 at the very least

Fingers crossed but this time i'm really not overly optimistic having been disapointed with each of the sequels - again they are all great games but Bungie manages to always do something alarmingly stupid along the way be it short campaign missions or encounters or simply not realizing what fans really want from the franchise

We are lucky to have Halo games and Bungie but it does frustrate me that we honestly don't yet have a true quality sequel in every single way that matches Halo1
