Subject: Should there be duals on Halo Reach

I think there should be because personally I think they are sick and they are realistic, not out of this world.

Holy -blam!-! Somebody finally said "Duals" instead of "Duels"! You deserve a cookie OP.

And I agree, there will be dual wielding in Reach. Theres no reason to take it out, it brings variety to the game, and before people begin saying "But I want single wielding weapons to be useful" well thats a matter of how you balance it, yes?

No, making weapons dual wieldable makes Bungie nerf them to keep it balanced. I would rather have stronger weapons and not be able to dual wield. Halo CE plasma rifle for the win!

No because Spartans weren't able to dual wield weapons until Halo 2 and having them dual wield in a prequel would ruin the game!!!!!!1!111!!!

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Yes, there should be duals in Reach, it adds a whole new factor into gameplay. Grenades and range, or extra spraying power? Besides, spartans have to be able to dual wield, I mean, c'mon, they're spartans (oh, and elites too).

I don't mind balancing as long as it's realistic. The power of weapons shouldn't just be decreased. Instead reloading should be a lot slower (Even impossible), accuracy should suffer, melee should be weaker, inability to throw grenades...

All those are there, anyone can see them. Just lowering the power when dual wielding is another thing.

Dual wielding just spices up things. Always holding some uber weapon (Halo1) isn't that great when on 30th playthrough, "half" weapons are great. Not everything needs to be equal all the time, in reality they ain't. There are plenty of "full" weapons anyways.

actually, the only reason you could dual wield is because you had the mk 6 armor. in reach, you will have mark 5, so you will probably not be dual weilding. i just hope if they do add it, they give the weapons better balancing unlike halo 3

Yeah, seeing that Miranda Keyes and the Spartans in Halo Wars were wearing Mark VI, too!

Miranda Keyes dual-wielded only twice, both in cutscenes.

As for Halo Wars, well, I don't know. I haven't played the game

The thing is, Keyes still did it. They guy that I (Sarcasticly) responded to said that the only reason is that you were able to was because you wearing Mark VI Armor.

P.S.: Spartans in Halo Wars dual wielded SMGs, and they wore Mark IV Armor.

Lol I was kidding, but HE'S actually serious. Just because they are wearing Mark V armor does not mean they can only hold one gun...

But it was stated that the Mark V armor cannot track two weapons at once. The Mark VI can however, thus allowing you to dual-wield.

No offense Bungie and others, but isn't the reason of having 2 guns for oh...idk...HAVE MORE POWER!? Seriously if you have two guns, they should have a lot of recoil but great damage.

Perfect. That means Mark V can still hold 2 weapons, but he has problems it. Although I'm not sure how reliable instruction manuals are, they have tons of unclearities.

That way Bungie doesn't need to nerf the guns' power. Just make weapons less accurate, longer to reload (even impossible), weaken the melee etc.

Miranda hold 2 weapons but that means nothing, anyone can hold 2 items at once.
