NOW NOW! see i know alot of people would dissagree with me, and the person who told me was some "connections" i only talked with him for half an hour, if you look at this at a buisneess stand point. .the ecomoney is bad, halo sells, now imagen the ps3 owners that wanna play halo reach, halo reaches realse will be as big as 3. . .money is there, the last console game the made was ONI!!! PS2! now i hope this guy is wrong but bungie has been known for switching like mac to pc, theres other things but keep replying
Well if your friend had these "Connections", he must work or know someone who works for bungie, in either case, the person that works for bungie would be fired for breaching a "Hush" contract in which the person agrees to not say a thing about the game unless bungie has Okayed it or announced it themselves.
And just to put something in perspective for you. Here are some numbers.
Halo 3 - Xbox 360 - $124 Million in 1 day.
GTA (Forget which) - PS3- $103 Million in 6 days.
Xbox 360s Flag Ship Game - Halo Franchise.
PS3s Flag Ship Game - Grand Theft Auto...I guess?
Microsoft Owns Rights to Halo
Sony does not.
Microsoft can make more money keeping Halo on One system, because it requires people who have PS3s to buy Xbox 360s, which in the end raises profit.
Sony could lose customers do to the game not being on thier console. Which would make microsoft happy.
Microsoft sharing the game could make dedicated Xbox/Halo fans upset, and not go and get Reach.
Sony would keep customers and make money off of Microsofts cash cow.
In other words, no. Its not gonna be on PS3 cause, if you think business, they would make more keeping it on one console, and making the game great, cause that requires more people to get their system just to buy the game, and pay for Xbox Live to play with friends online.
Microsoft would lose money if they tried sharing it.
