Bow chica Bow wow

While reading some of the halo books i read that in Halo: the Fall of Reach i noticed that the Spartans were able to take a shield guantlet from a dead jackel and figured that it would be possibe in halo reach.
now, to make it simple, the shield would act as a dual weild leaving you with one single hand weapon, and the way it would work would be something like an overshield. it would take a certain amount of damage until it collapsed then start taking from your normal shield, then if you took cover for long enough it would recharge. Then after a certain amount of times it collapses it would die and you would drop it.(or maybe explode and take away your shield as payback)
Kinda random thought tell me what you think.
(if this has already been posted, no i have not heard of searchbar.)

Meh, simplicity simplicity. Sheilds only protect the front, making it far too complicated (and the Jackals shields, as far as i can tell, don't recharge).

Good concept, but i think it would make for annoying gameplay, better to say they simply implemented a dead-man's-switch into the shield to prevent it from being used again.

If it was to be included, it would likely be destroyed after use, and have limited battery power.

You would equip it as a duel wield. It would probably be just like it is for jackels. It would have a battery that drains after taking damage. Once that battery charge equals zero, the shield collapses and is destroyed.

I would love to see this. Could be a new stratagy where you have people with shields move foward while people behind crouch lol.
