Subject: Do you want Halo Reach to be Natal compatible?

I dont see how it would work. I don't think an FPS is possible without a controler and just moton sencors. If they could do it though. I dont see why not, aslong as it works with a controler as well.

It'd be optional.

But everyone is just so damn simple minded, that they just assume, "I'M TO LAZY TO GET OFF MY ASS AND MOVE AROUND, I WANNA LAY IN MY BEANBAG CHAIR ALL DAY" so they think that Natal would replace the controller. It's stupid.

I'm a 15 year old stuck in the middle of nowhere. Machinima director, screenplay writer, novelist, jazz musician, and Photoshop junkie.

If you don't have to do it yes. If you have to use Natal I'll be pissed off. Halo in my opinion isn't meant for Natal sure there are plenty of games that would go great with Natal, but Halo just is not one of them. The only way I would like this is if you could magically go into a Halo world and play with your body movements rather than a controller. Like you were really holding a gun and stuff. Half of these morons that send messages at the end of a game going BK!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't even know how to aim a real gun. I would kick their ass.

You have any idea how it would or should work? Or just want Bungie to spend time on something no one needs?

You couldn't move with it so you need a controller to move. With a controller in your hand, how can you act as you had a weapon in your arms? How would you reload? You point the controller at the general direction of screen and get headshots? Try to place objects straight in Forge by swinging your arms around?

Not worth it for only a handful of seperate actions at best. There's a reason why Natal videos have only shown racing, skating, boxing etc. simple stuff.

Hell no. I like my FPS games to be played with me lying on the sofa.

thats something that exclusive to the wii

also i dont play alot of wii games b/c they all focoused on wii bowling and wii tenis and crap like that whcich is family oriented but sux for games itself

its very hard to create story games that are great with these controllers

youd have to buy an expensive and most likely crappy looking controller

a 1st person shooter is not the tipe of game that youd use for such a thing

untill virtuall reality comes out in like 40 years (to the public anyways the military will have it 1st) games will suck with this b/c itll be to hard to incorporate this in most game especially those with a year or 2 deadline

Of course since the whole name REACH fits into microsofts marketing. Natal is a motion control so the marketing for Halo Reach just writes itself.

Only for custom animation if a machinima mode is included.

I'd rather they work on making the game good than implementing some motion sensing crap that 90% of the fanbase aren't going to use.

So you're 90% of the fanbase?

No, I was using a part over exaggeration and part every second person says that it's retarded and/or a waste of time, and resources.

get out of here stalker

As long as I get to choose whether or not I want it in.

  • 10.17.2009 10:34 PM PDT

Um... I like Halo? I don't really know what to say. I'm a student at the moment, I hope to become a criminal profiler, and I enjoy pretty much everything as long as it's good.

As an alternative control, yes, but not as the main mode.
