Assuming Halo Reach will be like the past Halo games in terms of gameplay, I think there should be a numbering system for multiplayer. I thought of this awhile ago and suggested this to some friends, I forgot what they thought of it.

But anyway. What I mean is; everyone in the lobby is assigned a number. And by using these numbers as reference to the player, you can apply certain settings to them. For instance:

1: Mochamoo
2: Friend 1
3: Friend 2
4: Friend 3

Player 1 could start with overshields and swords, and even forced to be TEAM BLUE. Player 2 can be given no shields but rockets and regenerating grenades and forced TEAM RED, Player 3 can be camo'd and have infection properties. Player 4 is so on and so forth. This is a great way to make custom games more diverse, as everyone can be different.

Of course this can be abused, by making Player X more powerful than Player Y, but it shouldn't matter too much, since there are many other things which are just as unfair. Plus, you could always make your own, more balanced game.

Just throwing it in there, it'd be cool to see.

"Go then, there are other worlds than these."

That's actually an interesting idea. More options is always better as far as I'm concerned. Only for custom games naturally.. not a matchmaking thing.

Thanks. Among the idea mentioned above, I also do hope for the option to set the amount of lives avialable for each team. I contructed a map that I'm quite proud of, but the gametype it was made for couldn't be made due to the option being non-existent.
