Does anyone have any forge ideas for Halo Reach? Here are some of mine.
NOTE : THESE ARE IDEAS AND ARE NOT NECESSARILY GOING TO BE IN REACH
FX/Filters
Maybe create new new FX Filtering System. Keep the older ones such as Gloomy, Old Timey, etc., and even create some new ones. Create a Filter where you can toggle the color of the map. From blue to green or green to yellow and so on.
Geomerging
Maybe an automatic geomerge option. You place one item down, lets say a box, and the place another box on top of it. While still selecting the top box press the X button and scroll down the Geomerge menu and turn geomerge on. After you have selected this new options will appear and now the boxes will be merged together without having to restart and place a marker or anything. They will more of directions I suppose. Not options. All you have to do is rotate the box as usual till it is is the place that you want, but as long as you have geomerge on it will stay geomerged to the other object. Once switched off it will automatically disappear.
Items
You could create whole new items that can be used in forge, and even create your own by making a Create Your Own Item Menu. It could have a list of certain parts of other items that can maybe be made into a whole new item, and even newer parts to unknown items.
Have some camo and overshield updates. Maybe make it so where when you pick up an overshield then pick up a camo the overshield can either be visible or not visible.
Precisely
Like Sandbox make a Grid for every map so that it makes forging easier and more precise.
Have an option so that if there are grids that once an object is placed down on the grid it automatically fits perfectly into position. This will only work if the switch is on of course, because some of course may not want to use this. This is just so you won't have to spend countless hours on trying to perfectly fit the box on the lines.
Ability to Float
Have a floating option on the menu. This is for those people who love to forge wings, words in the air, random floating boxes, and so on. This could increase the map rate highly as it would be much easier to form a map if the objects could float. Now what this option will do of course is when selected all objects placed down will float where you place them. You will be able to move it and rotate as usual, but once you have unselected the item it will float in its current place.
Maybe a seasons effect which you can select to have the map layout switch between different seasons.
FX/Filters Cont.
Winter - Have snowflakes falling, and have the layout turn into of course the same map, but now with everything snow covered.
Fall - Have leaves falling and have separate piles of leaves and maybe some rain.
Spring - Have the sun out, and have flowers growing and the trees filling in again with new leaves.
Summer - Bright green grass with the sun bright as can be, and maybe even some puddles of water.
FX - Rain
FX - Snow
FX - Lighting
FX - Fire
FX - Storm
FX - Cartoon
FX - Comic Book Style
These are just some of the ideas that I had. I will try and come up with some more and even provide some links, so that you have an idea of what I'm talking about. For now I was hoping you as fellow members could post some ideas here. Thanks so much, and have a great day.

The ability to have grav lifts and man cannon select speed. This means that you can adjust the grav lifts speed and man cannon. %100 Percent would be normal of course, and if you cranked the speed up to %150 the speed that you would go at would be faster.
