Has anyone read anything about EXACTLY how single flag CTF works, i just assumed it was the same as CTF but the flag never switched sides.
And are there more levels confirmed beside zanzibar that have this feature

That's kind of interesting - a central flag that must be taken back to the team's base for a score, and then the flag resets in the middle of the map.

Sounds kind of cool.

If you look around, a few sites have first-hand reviews of the Zanzibar MP @ E3 and other events. As for being confirmed for other maps, it hasn't.

You can do it on Halo as well, the lag just switches side after a few minutes, and the teams alternate Offense/Defense...

no its not 1 team has a flag and one team either A. has to plant there flag in the others base or B. has to defend the flag and stop it from being taken back to the assulting teams base thats how they played it at E3 at least

what happens is there is a defensive team and an offensive team. defensive spawns at the mid where the flag is and offensive start at some place i dont know that part but any ways the offensive have to get the flag and take it to where ever they spawn. this is what i think it is so dont flame

You can do it on any map.

One team starts off on Defense, with the flag in their base. At E3, the time limit was set for 3 minutes. The offenseive team then has those three minutes to try to capture the flag. The two teams switch roles after the round, unless the flag is captured. If the flag is captured, they switch sides right away.

No im pretty sure one team has the flag neatly planted in their base the whole game, which is kinda the purpose of zanzibar. Where is the fun in CTF if it switched from this GIANT base to the middle of nowhere with no vantage points?
I dont know about you but i think A single flag the whole game is fun for everybody Offense and Defense would be fun

its not a hard concept. There is one flag one team defends it, and one team trysd to get it, then you switch sides, was it that hard to understand

That wouldent really work in halo unless the middle of the base had some structure with only 1 path to and from the flag

draag is a dumbass...

one team defense[ has players A, B , and C] and has the flag in there base.
team two offense[ has players D, E, and F] and has the vehicles to assault the defense.

after three minutes or a flag capture, all players from team one[A, B, and C] go to team two defense and spawn out at the beach while everyone simultaneously from team two [D, E, and F]spawn in the base as defense. rinse repeat...

and go ahead and try one hour--if they get the flag, you switch sides.

I think its you thats the dumbass, wasent it clear that i understood HOW it worked but would prefer that the flag never switched. so im just going to turn the time limit up past 3 minutes
