PORTAL in Reach!

Friend request me, I'm a friendly guy: Gamertag

To be completely honest, a bit more gore wouldn't be a terrible thing lol, but not too much. And I'd love to see scary Covenant but you gotta keep the grunts lol

The internet is a bad place.

Sounds good to me,aslong as it doesn't turn into a "men-with- -big-chainsaw-guns-against-underground-semi-humans-and-alot-o f-juice" kinda thing.

War, War never changes.

Got my Recon from the Vidmaster achievments, like most.
Reach IS awesome, don't deny it

Grunts should be scarier and more serious, but keep IWHBYD skull for those who still want to see them as humorous.

Go play gears of war. Bungie has no reason to create a game to attempt to compete with that niche, they pretty much have dominated the market rather well with their "cartoony" graphics and wisecracking grunts.

Besides, it is childish to think "I want a darker game, gratuitous violence and gore is the way to do it." There are better ways of creating a dark tone in a game than simply throwing blood at it.

Marine Corps.
Semper Fi.

My problems [with Reach] are basically just full parties, mlg, and people who go out of their way not to get killed.

I agree on the gore part.

Not really, it makes it more realistic.

Not really when you consider who is doing the fighting.

Spartans are weapons trained by the millitary since the age of six. Why does they fight the covenant? Because they are ordered to. They doesn't have any reason to hate the covenant to the point where he would unneccesarily start ripping off arms just to cause his opponent pain before they die. I don't know about you, but if I was in a fight and I had spartan strength, I'd just punch my opponent and break his spine instead of uselessly ripping of limb, because as I revel in his blood, his allies are going to start shooting me to death, and I'm going to stand there like an idiot with only his arm in my hand to defend myself. If he had that behaviour trait, he would also be inclined to taking rash actions without thinking. It just doesn't match up.

Spartans are calm and cool killers. They don't fight because they like watching their enemies die. They do it because they must.

As I said before, go play Gears of War. If bungie had any intention of goring up their game at any time, they could have done it in any of the previous games. Flood get ripped apart by shotgun fire, remember? Why not use the same physics to make brutes or grunts or jackals or elites do that? Because they didn't find it neccesary.

it probably won't happen, and it's perfectly fine if it doesn't.

Good. Just so long as you aren't getting your hopes up too much.
