Dude I don't care and my grammer is perfect.I used "Big", as you recall it to mak is specific."to not do...",is incorrect beause "do" is present tense/perfect(or future) when it was a past tense.

Well, they created this forum. And we can't really use it for discussion of the games features, because they haven't shown us any.

  • 10.16.2009 9:56 PM PDT

Bungie makes games that they like, and hopes that we like it too.

They do listen to us, but that doesn't mean they have to do what they tell them to.

But I mean, the aforementioned policy has been pretty successful thus far, right? Why change things up too much?

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

95% of ideas thought up by the B.net community are too retarded to even be considered by Bungie but they do listen to the good ideas. I still havn't seen a really good idea that is worth putting in Reach.

Carriable Fusion Coils seems to be a well recieved idea.

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

Yay for being 1%. The 1% that gives a -blam!-, of course.

Bungie does listen, but people expect too much. If their idea isn't implemented, they say Bungie doesn't listen. Then when Bungie implements something, the community says they did it wrong. Bungie can't win in this respect. (probably why they don't try to win, they just do what they want.)

Wayne Jarvis, Attorney at Law; I have a responsibility to tell you that there is no candy in this office.

Well, we have Infection because of Zombies in custom games of Halo 2. It was WAYYYY better in Halo 2, though.

Some input gets listened to, but most of it comes from people who started playing this series at Halo 3, and doesn't grasp the main idea. "omg i wunt pelkan and tr00p werthog in mattermaking bunjor make it for me nao"

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

If Bungie did half of what the community suggested the AR wouldn't exist, the BR would fire sniper missles, and everything else wouldn't happen as it'd all contradict itself.

Some ideas like Firefight were taken from the community, but Bungie can't (And honestly shouldn't in the case of the carriable fusion coils) implement or even consider all of them.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Regarding campaign stuff, no most likely not. But I'm sure they've listened to the suggestions for improvements in Forge, Theater, weapons, playlists, etc.

Although completely suicidal, I'm all for it. If it gets shot... :D

The less than a second latency of online play is a better system to play off of than more health.

You realize this system is just as host based, right? because if you're fighting host, or someone with a better connection to host, and you each start firing at the same time, his BULLETS will register first, giving him slightly more health if the melees happen at the same time.

So would you rather have the BS of both, or just one?

-HaVOk1228

They do indeed listen (I recall them mentioning once in a podcast prior to the halo 3 release that people on the forums had guessed about some features of halo 3), however I would not think, or at least I hope, that they only check the threads that get higher numbers of posts. Threads are born and killed in mass on this forum and I wouldn't blame them for simply ignoring the countless "add this weapon" or "you guys suck" threads.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Bungie does listen to the fans. They just mostly decide that our ideas are stupid and we'd hate them if we actually had to play with them. If bungie incorparated all fan ideas, there would be lots of people saying: "It seemed like a good idea at the time..."

Look out.... -boom- (headshot)
I told you to look out, but know, you got in my way, was going to shoot that splaser....

Every Idea seems good at the time you think it, it's just in our nature to think up something completely retarded and think it's cool until we try it.

Wherever you roam
so far from home
you'll be safe from peril
life threatening and terrible
if you avoid David Powel
and keep track of your towel.

I think they listen too much sometimes. Frankly the most vocal fans are often utter morons.

Anyone want to be able to fly a pelican in Reach? Heard it somewhere else thought it would be fun.

  • 10.17.2009 9:46 AM PDT

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

Well atleast ODST had dead Elites, 1 BR and high scores on service record

Don't know if it's because of fans, but originally I didn't expect to see them.
