Weren't drinols those dinosaur things that were supposed to be native to the Halos before they were cut from Halo CE because they wanted to make Halo seem uninhabited so that when the flood were discovered it would be much more shocking?

But Drinol were never in the canon I thought. Engineers were.

Besides, the game is on Reach, not Halo. Do you think that humanity would let some monstrous humanoid animal that is capable of giving a full grown spartan a challenge live? No, it would be mass extermination.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Uh?

Nope, those were thorn beasts.

Drinol are a bigass walking tank of doom that may be similar to sharquoi, which are canon.

Here are some of the characteristics that are used to figure out what can be used as a multiplayer character type.

1. Same general height
2. Same general width (Front)
3. Same general width (Side)
4. Same general head location
5. Same general difficulty as the other would be in campign

Obviously the elite is abit bigger then a spartan is, but its a very small difference compared to types such as grunts and hunters.

I saw a picture of drinol and it would not be anywhere near spartans or elites. This doesnt mean there is no hope at all for it, however it is unlikely to see this.

When you narrow down the list of characters to the ones that would fit those specifications, you can see Brutes, Spartans, and Elites are really the only properly fighting characters. Since brutes werent around during Reach, its safe to say they are a no go for multiplayer. And since each character has to be able to hold every weapon, they must have fingers (or something similar) too. So if a drinol cant use every weapon, I doubt it will be in the game as a playable character.
