1) Iloves.com first appeared under the xbox logo - coincidentally during a trailer for Halo 2 - or was it? You could argue that
a) It was there because it does relate to Halo 2
or
b) Microsoft or Bungie know that most 99% of x-box owners will be watching the ad with interest and they'll get a lot of hits this way.
2) I love bees has a countdown to Aug 24th and two separate countdowns to this Tues and two weeks from then. Microsoft have an expo on tuesday and inside information is usually divulged to the public at such events. What this information is we don't know. If we refer to point 1b) above, it could be anything. (new x-box live capabilities, new info on x-box 2). Aug 24th could then be when these XBL changes come into place or when we get a full rundown of x-box 2's capabilities.
Point 2 cannot be discounted.
3) The only reason people think its "definatley" Halo 2 related is by the self-appointed 'hardcore' that have read all the books and paraphernalia and anything that even smells of Halo 2. Trying desparately to read between the lines of junk text and applying it to Bungie's Halo universe. The thing is if we were take 'cars' for example, if we try hard enough, we can relate all tose text to the politics and mechanics and concepts behind Ferrari and the launch of their 2005 model. (and no I'm not going to bother!)
The thing is however, you could be right but there are only two main feasable (ie. not the 777=343 stuff) reasons for this
a) The person who began the 250 page thread joined the forum that day and (as far as I know) hasn't posted since.
b) no official word from microsoft or bungie about the anomaly/ies at the end of the trailer (there silence speaking volumes perhaps?)
Since ilove bees was discovered two more countdowns have been found over at the Amsterdam University and fridgeowls.com - now what, if anything, have these got to do with microsoft or Bungie? What anologies can be made? Should we try making any more?
Think back to when you were a child. It's Christmas and you've found where your mum and dad hid the presents, you can't help but look. When it comes to the 25th its never as good. Luckily for me though, my parents knew I knew and always hid a few things that I never could find. It made my day!
