too much lag, host would overload, end game

It would be super unbalanced to the point where it would be silly to include them in even custom games. Waste of time and programming. You can't even drive them.

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.

All this pain is an illusion.

Putting a Scarab in multiplayer would be too much, not to mention how you would balance it for multiplayer, the damn thing is overpowered enough

Assuming it were to be included (unlikely I know), then there would be a lot of vehicles capable of disabling it, such as scorpions, hornets (maybe), gauss hogs etc.....it's not actually too hard to avoid its weapons, if you're far enough away.

If it was included, it would only be on team games. And if you end up in a crappy team, a Scarab would be an absolute pain to take down. Even if you're facing a really good team with a Wraith or Scorpion backing them up, a Rocket or Laser makes it easy to take down, you really can't do that to a Scarab

Stop PMing me if you are group recruiting.

Only if it was for scenery.

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

i would only want a scarab in costem games and forge

And banshees are not that deadly in campaign either because they don't swoop down and splatter you like human players do.

The AI is designed to have flaws in the campaign so you can actually kill it.

With humans controlling it though? You don't have a prayer.

I concur.

I'd at least like to have maybe one to three Scarabs fights in Fire Fight, cause we all know, Fire Fight will probably be making it in Halo: Reach.

I think they should remove the main core supply thing (The one you have to destroy to blow it up) toughen up the legs a bit and make it destroyable with out hopping on it.If It is included of course.

i support the wonderfull idea of the multiplayer scarab, but it must be complimented by a unsc semi-equivalant

THE VULTURE!!! i know it's not exactly equal to the scarab but it's as close as the unsc can get

  • 10.17.2009 3:05 PM PDT

Hell why not I know lets just have a base on each map where we can call in a MAC blast too i'm sure that'll sort the Scarab out (not to mention the enemy team if you drop it on their spawn (and i'm pretty sure it's like a high grade nuke so it'll definatly leave a crater destroying most the map, that'll be fun!)).

But seriously it's a bad idea but with that said it dose have flaws and weakness'es to be exploited though i'd say if anything it's only for custom games I mean the last thing you need is all the kids who scream and cry when they lose to flip even worse when the enemy team gets the 'God' Vehical.

that be cool, Stars Wars Battlefront has huge pilotable AT AT , So why not in Halo huge pilotable vehicles in Halo Reach multiplayer.

  • 10.17.2009 3:24 PM PDT

I'm pretty sure the AT-AT would look like a puppy dog to a Scarab though for the graphics battle front had i'm still supprised they managed things like that especially with the Capitial ships as bases in the second game when you had space battles I did love that game.. just could never get it for the xbox.

I hate N00BS!!

Scarab Vs. Elephant!

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

As playable scenery, like a base.
