I make a legitimate thread on the most logical choice for the next Bond actor, and you take that away from me by creating a parody thread indirectly connecting my thread to yours.

I hope your kids have bad influences and develop bad personalities. I wish this with all my heart.

Now that we are going back to a time before Halo: CE, there obviously need to be some changes made from Halo 2 and 3's spartan gameplay.

1.) Health
If there's one thing that ODST showed us, it's that going in guns blazing is not always the best decision, and being vulnerable enough to force you to think about your actions can be incredibly fun. This also leads me to number 2:
2.) Your armor
Remember, the Spartans use Mk. V Mjolnir armor, not the Halo 2 and 3 Mk. VI. This means shields that regenerate slowly, and health that doesn't auto-regenerate. Combine this system to make both Spartans and player-controlled marines share health packs for fun item management. This also leads me to number 3:
3.) You can't jump as high or melee as hard.
According to Halopedia,
"The MJOLNIR Mark VI is the third and final upgrade to the MJOLNIR system, the Mark VI once again introduces several technical improvements while refining technology introduced in the previous system. The first improvement made to the system is a faster recharge time on the suits energy shield system so that the SPARTAN-II super soldier does not have to remain in cover for an extended period of time. The second is improved synchronization between the suit and user, this allows the SPARTAN-II to jump higher run faster and hit harder then he could previously."
This means you, once again, are not the Halo 2 and 3 super-soldier you've come to know and love. You're the Halo 1 super-soldier you've come to know and love. In Halo 1, you took fall damage, jumped almost as high, and had weaker melee's. All were still used extensively, but they weren't as good as Halo 2 and 3's upgrades.

I don't mean we should dwarf the Spartans to ODST capabilities; they are still kickass super-soldiers, and should be designed as such. But by bringing us back to the original iconic gameplay that spawned a massive, multi-billion dollar franchise, you can send Halo out with the bang that Halo deserves.

China called they want part of their wall back.

But seriously it seems like an okay idea seen as they armour aint going to be as great as halo 3's though it was augmentation* that made them strong not the suits they just gave them power'd protection ect.

*if I got augmentation worng my bad my meaning is all the stimulants ect they were given since they were kids to make them grow ect faster.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

The armor did also improve their current strength and reaction times.

on that topic i did not like how in ODST it was still a good idea to melee a brute i wish there was a mechanic where if you got close to a brute it just stomps on you

or how you were pretty much still a Spartan
i did like ODST, but i realy just see as an upgrade to halo 3

Melee'ing anything in Halo 3 meant near-instant death for anything you hit. It instantly drained shields, and instantly killed anything without shields. In ODST, you melee damage is cut in Half, has a shorter lunge, and no longer has a significant knock-back effect.

And Chewbacca, the augmentations that increased muscle mass, gave them tough bones, etc. did make them stronger; combining that with the suites is what gave them the ability to crush someone's skull with their index finger.
Give them Halo 3's suits, and replace the word "index" with "pinky."

Adamantium bones? Please cite that for me.

Spartans did not get 'Adamantium bones' their bones became denser thus making them stronger.

No they did not have adamantium, you are right. They had ceramic carbide ossification. This procedure didn't make them stronger, it just made their bones basically unbreakable under normal circumstances(in other words their bones only break when they fall 2 kilometres from a flaming pelican :P) They had a injections to increase muscle density to make them stronger.

Sorry, I had misread the part about enhancement of the bones, thought I saw adamantium somewhere in them. And I never said that the increased strength was the product of grafting the materials onto the bones.

Their bones still didn't break, their organs were crushed against their bones. Not a good way to go...

Yes they did. Several of them had broken ribs.
